I'm a satisfied customer. I brought sofa covers to J-Hee for cleaning on a thursday, got them back by tuesday clean and nicely pressed. I was napping on my sofa in no time. The owner is very polite and didn't give me a hard time when I brought the covers in stuffed in a garbage bag. Hey, I'm a bachelor. I'm allowed to do things like that.
Just a note, though. They don't accept credit cards, only cash or check.
Five billion stars for J-Hee. All the stars for J-Hee.
I went to pick up my dry cleaning on Thursday. I had to go to court that morning. I had no clean suits. My train was leaving in five minutes. My bill was $28. I had $20 in my pocket. I did not have my check book.
J-Hee says, "20 is OK. You can come back later."
Wow. I almost burst into tears when he said that. What other small business owner is going to just trust a customer to come back with money she owes him? (I of course did come back the next morning to pay the rest of my bill!)
Thank you so, so much for making my stressful morning so much less stressful. You are my hero. I will tell everyone I know to go to your awesome shop, starting here!

It's your typical cleaners and tailor. They do a good job on the cleaning with a quick turnaround when needed, and the owner has done really good tailoring for me. I'm also glad that he'll tell me what he can't do - I had a tux that needed work and he said he couldn't handle it. I'd much rather he tell me so I can go someplace else instead of screwing it up.
I'm notoriously picky about the cleaners I go to - I went through 4 places in another neighborhood - and I've been going here for 2 years.
I brought a dress here for alterations. Even though their sign says "24 hour expert alterations" I had to wait nearly a week for my dress to be ready for me to pick it up. When I came to get it , he said it couldn't be fixed. He never bothered to call me to tell me so I could bring it to another place where they actually know what they are doing. I also wanted him to clean it, but he didn't. Luckily, Monitor Dry Cleaners on Clark and Wilson was able to both clean and alter my dress before the wedding I needed it for. I will never go back to J-Hee's!
