I love Izabel'z!!! Honestly, I chose this place because it's right across the street from my bf's house AND the awesome reviews here on Yelp.
FYI: This place is appointment only so don't always expect the lights to be on when you drive by.
I came 15 minutes early and Isabel was just walking up. She listened to what I wanted for my hair, made suggestions, and we chatted it up during the hour long session. Before I knew it, I had a new do and was loving it!!! My hair smelled and felt sooooo good. It's only been a few days since my visit with her and I can't count how many compliments I've gotten about my hair.
I think I've finally found my hair stylist. -

After keeping my hair long for the last several years, I decided that it was time for a change!!! After my not-so-great experience with Nanel's Beauty School, I decided to invest my money into a stylist who knows what they're doing and I found Isabel. After the very positive reviews from other Yelpers, I decided to give her try and I am so glad that I did. She's been doing hair since 2000 and graduated from SJ City College which has one of the best cosmetology programs.
The length of my hair was at least past my shoulders and I opted for a bob. She thinned out my hair since I was blessed with my dad's genes of thick hair and fixed my bangs. Now I have this cute, short hairstyle, easy to manage and fix in the morning!
Her shop is located in a tiny plaza in the middle of a residential area. There's no sign but it's next to a pizza parlor. I found her to be incredibly nice, attentive, and friendly. Plus she gave me some sample shampoos, conditioners, and frizz control gels to try and so far, they have been fab on my hair!!!
If you're in need of a haircut, check her out as she's got flexible hours and reasonable prices. She also does extensions!Listed in: TLC

Isabel has been doing my hair since she worked in a salon in Oakridge Mall. Since then, she's moved shop twice and now owns her own Salon In Campbell. Even though her salon is now 35mins out of the way, I wouldn't think of going to anyone else.
Reason's why I love Isabel:
1. The service - She washes, cuts your hair and styles it under one price. She is always good to talk to and she explains what she is doing to your hair. You can tell that she loves her job and she's always excited to tell me about new things she's learned. One example is that she got a license to do extensions and gave me ten free extensions to try it out and see if I liked it. Since I was curious, she explained the steps and offered to give my friends ten free extensions too if they wanted to try them out.
2. Consistency - She always does a great job and she always offers tips on how to best style a new do.
3. Price - She charges me the same as she always has and she doesn't charge more if you have thick or long hair like some salons do.
If you're looking for a great stylist, I would go to Isabel. Every woman knows it can be hard to find someone you can trust with your hair. -

My friend Jen S. recommended Izabel awhile back after getting a cute bob cut from her last Spring before her graduation. Very cute, so I happened to stumble across her salon while at another appt in the same small and obscure plaza, snuggled in a residential district.
I was able to make a convenient appt for this past Friday and found the results to be great. I didn't ask for much except a layered trim that would help my hair look healthier and taper my face a bit. She gave me what I asked for and did it swiftly. The only bummer is that it is far from my work and I had to really rush to get here. If it were closer, I would probably come back. The price was right at $40 for a wash, cut and style.
If you like a more mellow atmosphere, this is a great place to chill out and get your hair Did! -

Isabel completely deserves her perfect Yelp score. Last week she cut and styled my hair and I absolutely it!
When I moved from SF to the south bay, I had to find a salon closer to my new home. Thanks to Yelp, I found Isabel - the owner and head stylist of Isabelz. I've seen her 3 times now, and I always leave happy. She is friendly, knowledgeable and all of her attention is always focused on you. Her salon is mellow and low-key and I always enjoy our conversations. I think she gives amazing haircuts at a very reasonable price. What beats that? -

I love supporting small businesses, so when my former high-end salon decided to raise their prices, I've decided to part ways and switch to Izabel'z, an independently owned salon in a little "shopping center" in my neighborhood. Though the reviews on Yelp are excellent, I still had my reservations, and opted for just a simple trim the first time around.
Boy, am I glad to have found Isabel! From our first meeting, she managed to tame my thick, coarse hair into submission and since then, she's worked miracles (i.e. she gave me the cutest bangs despite my stubborn, strong part; she's managed to make me soft, not stiff, barrel curls that stay for days; consistent color every time). As Renee R. stated, Isabel uses the best hair products and really pays attention to the condition of your hair -- your hair ends up being so soft and so healthy and so shiny whens she's done with it! -

This is a salon just opened by Isabel, formerly from Baliza. It's in a tiny little suite in a shopping center in the middle of a neighborhood where you might miss it if you weren't sure where it was.
But let me tell you: it is worth finding!
I am new to the area and I hunted down Isabel after reading the rave reviews about her here on Yelp. She came highly recommended and even though I was a bit wary to just pick someone randomly, it was totally worth it!
Isabel is amazing! For $38 I got an unbelievable hair "sculpting." For many, many years I've had the unfortunate experience of having terrible stylists and only found one 1 month before I left Indiana for CA that I thought was good.
But Isabel is even better and I didn't think it was possible. I have long, naturally wavy hair and she transformed it into a beautiful flattering cut that framed my face and makes me look like a model, a rockstar, a hot trendy girl, and also a professional all in one. Don't ask me how she does it, but it's possible. If I style my hair in a hurried and not-so-pretty fashion it still looks FANTASTIC! I look like a wealthy, pampered, snobby girl who paid hundreds for the most trendy perfect hair cut. I tell you I have never seen my hair look so good before in all my life. She took great care to cut it just to my specifications even though I didn't know what they were and she did even more than I thought was possible! I will never trust anyone with my hair as much as Isabel and I am definitely going back.
Oh yeah, and an additional plus, since this is a new salon, there isn't much if any wait time if you make an appointment... don't know how long that will last. -

In short - great service, great haircut, great conversation and good price.
I decided to check this place out after reading you guys' reviews here on Yelp, and I am so happy that I did. Izabel who owns and cuts hair is amazing. She colored my hair today and gave me a fabulous haircut for a reasonable price. She has an indescribable unique way of adding her own little touch for a wonderful cut. She's got natural talent for hair and most importantly gives you exactly what you want.
She was on time and focused just on me. I love that she had no other clients scheduled during my appointment.
She also has a delightful personality. She is so sweet and so fun to talk to. She's a go-getter in life with talent and I highly recommend that you try her out! -

Per my usual non-committal self (in sticking to a single stylist), I embarked on my continual quest in finding "the one" stylist and came across Izabelz due to my fellow yelpees. She had great reviews and was close to my house so I thought hey why not. I loved the convenient online appointment system. No need to speak to anyone and leave vm but rather I can schedule it all on my own. The website did confuse me a bit because it didn't seem to feature hair but rather pictures, or stock photos for that matter, on random clothes and make up so I didn't know what to expect.
Upon my arrival at the salon, I have to admit, it was not what I had expected at all. The salon was in this tiny strip mall in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I felt like I was in a ghost town because it was eerily quiet with no one around. I could easily envision tumbleweeds rolling around! The salon itself was also very vacant. Not modern as I had expected. Not quite run down but just very barren, no decorations or chic interior. I should've noticed how none of the other reviews included the salon atmosphere.
It took me surprise because the last few places I've been to were Atelier on Santana Row and Salon Rache in the Pruneyard, both very upscale. For me, getting a haircut needs to include the whole package, getting beautified with a new look and being pampered at a great salon with amenities.
I would've rated Izabelz a 3.5 for the whole experience but wanted to round it up to 4 because I have been getting a lot of compliments for my cut and color. Strangers and friends alike, have continually complimented on how great my hair looks. I'll admit, I love the color and appreciate what Isabel did. So in the end, if you like a no fuss salon but good hair, Izabelz is not a bad place to go. I'm still torn... -

My partner and I have been going to Isabel for almost two years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. She got be through the awkward phase of super short hair to long hair-- something that isn't easy!
We've been following Isabel from Beliza Salon to this salon-- her very own! We recommend her to all of our friends. Don't get your hair cut by anyone but Isabel! -

I was recommended to Isabel's two years ago. I have had the worst experience with previous hair stylist, until I met Izabel. She has been extremely wonderful and talented with hair (in general). I have had my good friend switch to her and she will not change her. I have been very satisfied with my hair.
Isabel has always answered all my hair questions, and giving me the best tips to style my hair at home; not to mention that she has the best hair products. My hair has grown so much since I have been going with her.
I can honestly say that I completely trust her decisions for my hair. She is the best out there. -

Isabel started out doing hair for my magazine shoots and now has been doing my hair for over a year. I won't see anyone else when it comes to my hair and Isabel has gone above and beyond what I would expect out of any stylist. She always makes it easy for me to get an appointment and is very accommodating when it comes to my busy schedule. She always knows what I want and doesn't need photos or anything. Recently she put 24" extensions in my hair and they are beautiful. I've received about 15 compliments in the last week on them. I don't know what I'd do without her, she's amazing.

Isabel has been doing my hair for years now. I trust her completely and she has always been wonderful at giving me the cut and style that I envision and explain. Her wash and condition always feels heavenly and she uses top of the line (and delicious smelling) products on your hair. I highly recommend giving her a try. You won't be disappointed!

I love my new hair style! I've had good hair cuts before, but this was a hair STYLE. Isabel listened to what I asked for and gave me the best look I've had in years. I'd trust her to take liberties on my hair after just one cut. I'll definitely be going back.

It's hard to tell from the photos on Izabelz website just what she is marketing: clothing and modelling ... or hairstyles? The focus isn't clear. But then neither is Izabel. If you choose to call Izabelz to make that first important contact (and according to her website that's welcome -- as it is in most salons everywhere) and you happen to catch Izabel in real-time: It is Not OK. Izabel was taken aback and stunned, and flatly, coldly and rudely told me to go to her website to make an appointment. There was absolutely no uptake from Izabel -- not even a smidgen of pleasantness -- that showed any appreciation for a motivated, prospective client doing their diligence via Yelp, then calling to make contact for a personal service, which hair cut and color absolutely is.
I asked about color products used and other sylists at the salon (not on the website), and in icy cold, disdainful tones, Izabel informed me of the one color product line she uses, and then deadpanned: "the other stylists are independent, you'd have to contact them." But how? (She did not welcome visiting the salon to contact the other stylists or to pick up business cards, et cetera.)
Less than zero communication and people skills, forget "best practices." Never encountered anything like it anywhere on the planet.
Perhaps my early Friday evening call caught a lackluster Izabel off-guard and off duty, but I wouldn't wish that bizarre experience on anyone, as a weekend opener. It was a nasty surprise, given most of her reviews on Yelp.
If calls after a certain hour are not welcome, then put hours of operation on the website, and put a designation beside the two given phone numbers -- or simply designate one for business calls and Don't Answer It when you are in downtime and incapable of reasonable business communication. I just went to see Isabel today after reading all of the Yelp reviews and I was super happy with the results. I have long hair and haven't gotten a haircut in 2 years since every hairstylist seems to think it's ok to cut off 4-6 inches of my hair when I ask for a trim. I get a lot of split ends but am trying to keep my hair long. I told Isabel that I had that problem and asked her for a trim and not only did she cut off exactly as much as I asked for but she also taught me some great ways to get my hair healthy again. I am starting a regimen with her and I FINALLY have a great stylist to go to! I have already passed her card around work and really recommend you go see her too.

I just returned from Isabel's salon -- I've been going to Isabel for almost a year now for color, highlights, and cuts. I'm so happy I found Isabel. She is a brilliant hair designer and colorist. As a bonus, she's such a kind and delightful person. I look forward to my visits with her each month. The products Isabel uses are tops - my color does not fade and, thanks to Isabel's care, my hair is in its best condition ever. Whenever I return home from Isabel's, my husband raves about how good my hair looks. Strangers even compliment my color and highlights. Isabel cares so much about her clients -- it is no surprise she has such a loyal following.

isabel is absolutely wonderful! she was recommended to me a few years ago after i was unhappy with a cut i received at an expensive, trendy salon....and she turned that disaster into the best haircut i had ever had! i have fine, straight hair and have never been able to find someone who could give me an actual *style*...until isabel! like others have said, she uses great products that make your hair smell and feel great...i don't even think about going to anyone else!

I found Izabelz on yelp and decided to give her a try. I have a long history of unsatisfying haircuts that just didn't work for me and I was nervous when i walked in. Izabel was super helpful and took the time to sit down with me and figure out exactly what we should do to my hair. I LOVE my new haircut and will definitely be returning to her from now on and recommending her to ALL my friends. She is not only professional, she taught me tricks and tips to try and duplicate her amazing work at home. I've been getting nonstop compliments from everyone since I stepped out of her salon. Thank you Isabel!!!
