I went to Ixtapa for dinner and loved it. The service and food were amazing. The servers were attentive and got the chips and salsa, drinks and our food out in a timely manner. We never had to ask for refills; once a drink was low, we were offered a refill.
The chips were crisp and warm, and their salsa was a tiny bit spicy. I decided to try the pomegranate mojito and I liked it. I ordered a platter with chicken sauted with mushrooms and onions over Spanish rice and it was so delicious I wished I could eat it all in one sitting. I believe it was the #9 but I could be wrong.
Overall I loved the service and the food. It's a bit more pricey than the taquerias I am accustomed to (I spent $35-40 for 2 people) but it's a great place to sit down and eat.
Ok, so I ate here every day when pregnant! Best salsa and great food. Some of the servers are super friendly and others.. are not. I love to support our town and the businesses in town so I will be continuing to go here often.
This is the branch that got an E.coli scare this week, but they cleaned it up. I'd give it a couple weeks.
i went here for the first time, need i remind you that i have lived in lake stevens for 9 years now. anyway. when i came here, the prices were outrageous, 2 dollars for 1 taco that barley had any meat in it... and not only was that bad, the service was terrible, i walked in and they did not greet me, and all the staff were very grouchy. i am never going back to this plave ever again....
