6 reviews for Ixtapa
I hate large Mexican chain restaurants but this one was GREAT.
Nicely decorated, decently large menu, and good prices.
I had a giant beer and some kinda mexican dish of like 3 different things? It was all GREAT. Surprisingly good mexican food for a chain. I was pleasantly surprised by my lunch here and you will be too!
Extremely friendly staff, good food and great prices!
Ole! I love me some hometown mexican grub. The good folks at Ixtapa have been making it happen in downtown Duvall now for years- 15 to be exact.
My family has been coming here for years. They still ask about my brother and I- it has been a long time since we've made an appearance.
Their chimichangas are good, their chips and salsa is bomb, and they are so friendly and great, I just had to write a review.
Two churros way up!
Overall, Ixtapa is a decent restaurant that is too expensive.
The restaurant is both clean and family friendly, and the service is pretty good. The complimentary salsa, although fairly spicy, is definitely a cut above the standard free salsa you get at many places.
The food itself is fine, but the prices are completely crazy.
My family and I ordered one fish taco plate, one enchilada plate, a (discounted) kids' meal and two iced teas and ended up spending 40 bucks after tip.
We visited many, many Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area of California, where the cost of living is much more expensive than rural Washington State, and we were able to get much better food for much less than 40 bucks.
For small town Mexican fare, 40 bucks is too much.
Decent food, decent prices. The place is really bright and colorful, very cheery. I would have given them 3 stars, but the staff are just so damn friendly. Walking in there we were greeted like 6 times by staff who seemed THRILLED to have us come in, even though it was a pretty busy night. Super nice people =)
Clearly the best Mexican restaurant north of Fall City and south of Monroe in the Snoqualmie Valley. The staff are wonderful, the food excellent, the prices reasonable, and the hours longer than any other restuarant in town. And while all the Ixtapas are related, this is probably the best of the bunch.
