Complete disrespectful customer service. Had one of my clients try to seek a job opportunity here just for the manager to respond with, "I don't trust your people." Prior to my client coming in manager had a bad experience with one of his ex-employees that happened to be the same race as my client, using that outlook to define what services & potential he would have working at his automotive shop. Would never recommend this kind of service to ANYONE regardless of the approach we came from as interested candidates instead of customers.

Very nice service department!!!! They hooked me up in less than five minutes (I.e. filled my low tire up)! Within that time, they earned my business. Thanks for taking care of the customer!

Decided to give this place a try since i had a few colleagues say their oil service was great and very affordable. Dropped my car off at 11 and told the man that i would be out of work by 3 and if i can just pick up my car then. They finished my oil change within 45 mins. SUPER FAST!!! Over all great service, will be returning soon

Failed smog check because of a broken dipstick handle. I have had this broken dipstick handle for a while and still got my car smogged at another smog station where it passed the visual inspection. also this particular station does not offer free re-tests which I believe should be offered. Another thing is that make sure to check if your gas cap, oil cap, dipstick is present and is not broken because if that's the case then the visual part of the inspection will most likely fail.

Toyota Sunnyvale quoted me a very high price to replace my front brake pad and rotors. Good thing I decided to do some research online and found the average price range and decided to support an independent business.

The labor cost here is a bit high but the actual parts cost less.

The total on my invoice was still much, much *less than Toyota Sunnyvale plus I received fast same day service and a clear invoice.

This place scammed me on my Smog Check.

I went here because I work right across the street. So I dropped off the car off at 11:00am, and walked to work. I got a call around 2:00PM saying that I need to come back to discuss an issue.

They told me I had an illegal after market Catalytic Converter on my car and failed my smog check for $58. They didn't even run the smog test, they just said that the serial number is illegal so they can't pass it.

I told them I'm the only one that does repairs on my car, and there's no way that it's been passing for the past 7 years that I've owned it, and haven't had any problems. They said I needed to go somewhere else to get it replaced. They didn't even offer to replace the Catalytic Converter themselves, or offer any recommendations, they just said to go somewhere else to get it replaced. I checked later online that it is actually illegal in California to replace a working catalytic converter, which makes sense why they didn't offer to replace it.

I took it to another place closer to my home in Hayward, which offered a free retest if it failed the smog check. I took it there and it passed no problem, just like it has the past 7 years I've owned this car. I have a feeling they think I don't know anything about cars, and that they could just say it failed to make a quick $58.

The reason I don't think they even checked my car is because I also have a leaking steering column, which I've known about for a while. Every time I take my car in for a repair, the mechanic will tell me that my steering column is leaking and it needs to be replaced. I usually say thanks, but I know it would cost $800 to replace the steering column, so I just continue to refill it as it get's low. This place is the first place to not warn me about my leaking steering column. If you turn the steering wheel at all you will hear the whining of the steering pump or if you do any work under the car, such as look up a catalytic converter serial number, then you would see the drip. So I don't think they even moved the car from the parking lot where I left it, they probably just waited 2 hours, and then called me.

Now that I think about it, a smog check should not even take 3 hours. I made the mistake of leaving my car there and leaving to go to work instead of staying there and watching. When I got my smog check done in Hayward it only took about 30 minutes from driving in, to leaving the place.

Don't trust this place.

This review is about the smog tech RAMON who works there.

He was extremely rude and failed my vehicle for no reason. I was able to pass it with flying colors at the next smog place I went to.

He was rude when I told him he failed me unfairly, as I had never had this issue before.

The next smog station I went to claimed he failed me wrongly also.

RAMON is very unprofessional and I would never let him touch my car again.

I wanted to find a reliable place, and was hoping this would be it. But, they turned out to be not trustworthy. A part that had no issues ever was recommended to be changed and then many more trips to this shop to change some part related to that first part they changed. A leak here, a crack there...finally took car to dealer and dealer said you got this part changed, probably didn't need to and the replacement is very cheap part, even though I was told by these guys that they 'alway' put OEM or better parts.
Alas, the search for a good and reliable car mechanic goes on.
