2 reviews for Islands in the Park - Braddock Park
My rating is specifically for the mini golf course, not the batting cages or park itself.
The course is very simple, with a primarly flat and simple holes. The price was $6 for adults, cheaper for kids. It's got a full 18 holes, a few benches spread along the way, and some small water streams/ponds. Personally, I grew up playing mini golf at places like Pirates Cove, and I have yet to find much compare to it. Like I mentioned earlier, this place has very little creativity to the holes. I can understand not putting windmills or loop the loops in, but why not add some simple elevated holes, or those multiple hole/tube types? There might be one or two holes that are unique, but most plots of green with fake blue marks to symbolize water, and maybe a pillar or two to add some challenge. This place will do if you're looking for just a quick mini golf fix, but it's not much better than that.
Honestly the batting cages are much better. $20 for 19 tokens, much more fun imo.

My boyfriend and I just went here this weekend to play mini golf and were really impressed. We thought the holes were challenging, the landscaping was nice and the greens were all clean and new. We played mini golf at two places in Myrtle Beach in July and this was much better then those. Myrtle Beach is supposed to be the mecca of mini golf so it says something that this is better. I thought the price was reasonable. I have paid much more for worse courses. I will definitely go back.
