Oh my lanta... so many antiques! This place is filled too to bottom you have to spend at least a good hour in here if you want to see it all. I was taking a trip back to my childhood with so many of the items. Pricing was actually pretty reasonable. Parking is in a small lot to the side of the building. They do have some strict rules about break it you buy it, no kids, control your kids ect. I honestly do not blame them. Overall it's a great store to hit up especially in a rainy day if you are looking to pass time.

What a cool antique shop! They have so many things to pick from. Their medicine cabinet was so cool to look at. They don't sell any clothes only items and trinkets. We purchased some really cool looking antique stickers. They have a small limited collection of books, too. My favorite part was the antique toy section. They also had a huge sale when we went. Anything that was $10 or more was half off. The only downfall is the store is really strict with their no touching or photography policy.

I noticed on the tv news there were a kitchen scales behind you. Could you let me know the maker of each of the scales you have? Thank you.

big but really small at the same time, the place is crammed with stuff, most of which is really overpriced junk. i know that dealers are trying to make money but most of the stuff here can be found on online auction sites for considerably less $$ including the cost of shipping.
most of the tags are really faded, tells you that they've been for sale for a long time. there were 50% off sales throughout the place, but even at 50% off, prices were too high. fun to see stuff & invoke a memory, but not to buy.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alex V.Fort Myers, FL3161620Oct 10, 2020
One of the best places I've visited for antiques. Truly a unique shopping experience. After a long day at the beach, stopped by here with zero expectations. Far exceeded what I thought would be a cheapened tourist trap. Very well curated, incredible and mint medical, Pharmaceutical, radios/telephone, and varied collectibles. Reasonably priced and fun to browse all the treasures. A Sanibel must-see! The less favorable reviews on here simply aren't just.

I have always loved visiting this shop for Ruby Glass, Fenton, and old books. Perhaps the pandemic has reduced the supply of "finds" but there is still lots to see and buy at the location. You are bound to discover some precious tschotches. We always stop here when on Sanibel. Anything your heart desires is in that shop, you only need park cattywoompus amid the sea grape and you're there.

My 11 year-old daughter and I almost didn't go in given the negative reviews about the rude service.... I'm so glad we decided to see for ourselves! The owner was so friendly and helpful, and not rude at all. My daughter and I browsed each of the rooms that were chocked full of treasures and bought wonderful keepsakes to remember Sanibel when we get back home. We will probably have to go in again before we leave the island because there are so many fun antiques and collectibles that we know we could not find anywhere else. The prices were reasonable, and we were lucky that there was also a sale. Ignore the negative reviews. I'm baffled by them, personally.

We have been here several times in the past and have never had an unpleasant experience until today.
I was looking at a book and the old man who was working today walked up to me and told me to be careful with the book because the book was old and fragile. He then hung around me as if I was going to steal the book. I felt very uncomfortable and eventually walked out. The old man was very rude. What he should have said was to let him know if I needed any help. He needs to find another job where he does not have to deal with humans.
I will never be back and will tell everyone i know to stay away.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Valerie V.Kiowa, CO05Mar 8, 2021
I have been to this shop so many times and have purchased lots of stuff from here. However, I will never go back again. I refuse to buy anything from rude people. Do yourself a favor save your money and buy from the many amazing shops down the road that appreciates you doing business with them.
