I wanted to rate this place 3.5 stars, but I'll round up to 4 stars. Really, though, what you rate it depends on whether you rate the 9-hole course, driving range, or both.

9-hole course: It's a par 29 (7 par-3's, 2 par-4's). It's a short course that allows you to work on your short to mid-irons, as well as your short game if you miss the greens (like I do on occasion). Overall, the course is kept in fairly good condition. Yes, some people don't fix their ballmarks, but the fairways and greens are generally in great condition. The only two places where the conditions can vary greatly are the teeboxes (sometimes, there are a lot of divots) and bunkers (if people don't rake the latter). I would say that the average skill level of a golfer who plays this course is between an 18- to 25- handicapper. On the outliers, there are your single-handicappers and brand spanking new beginners. You'll probably get through this course in between 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 40 minutes (but that depends on the pace of play in your group and the group ahead of you, of course). The time between paying your green fees and teeing off on the first hole can also vary greatly. I've had times when I can tee off right away, and I've had times when I've had to wait almost half an hour to get on the course. Overall, a fun little course to play. It's not Pebble Beach, but it wasn't designed to be.

Driving range: "Hm... did I drive that ball 275 yards or 320 yards. I can't tell." That's how I feel when I hit the net on the fly with my driver. I'm not saying this out of arrogance, but it can sometimes be frustrating for those of us who admire our shot only to have it knocked down by the net. That aside, the driving range is OK. There are both grass tees and mats. If you want a more forgiving surface, then hit off of the mats. If you're a more advanced golfer and want a challenge, hit off of the grass. The grass is usually hit or miss. Sometimes, it's divots galore to the point where you can't find a good grassy place to hit your ball. If I'm not mistaken, the price for a bucket of balls is probably above average. I usually end up buying the largest value card possible because I know I'll go there enough times. Oh, and some people don't know, but there is a short game area where you can practice chipping and bunker shots. And, of course, there are two putting greens that are usually kept in great shape.

For a small 9-hole course and driving range, I'm rather impressed with this "little engine that could" golf course. For the most part, I'm a fan.

A very well kept par 3 course with a few water hazards. There are two par 4's thrown in the mix as well.

I have always had a great time playing at this course and I think it's a great place for beginners and people who want to practice their short game. I've been to a couple of par 3's in NorCal, and this is much better than anything you'll get up there.

Pros:
+ a fantastic deal ($5.50 if you're a senior citizen or a kid, and $8 for everyone else on weekdays)
+ well-kept fairways
+ friendly people who are always up for a chat
+ a driving range in which you can hit off of grass instead of just mats (not the case right now though, I think they're seeding)

Cons:
- not much of a pro shop. In fact, I wouldn't really consider it one.
- there are ducks everywhere... which means a lot of poo if you're not careful..
- since there are so many beginners, there's a good chance you'll get backed up as you play

Overall, a cute place to play golf. I'd recommend it. =)

Great little 9 hole course for beginners.  It's not a long course but, its also not all par 3's so you get to bust out the driver on a few holes.  The course is maintained well, and in very good condition for a beginner 9 hole course of this price.

Great deal @ $11 for adults, and $6.50 for juniors weekend rates, you cant beat that.

I highly recommend you allow yourself a little extra time though, it tends to be a little crowded and overbooked by the pro shop.

Mostly par 3's with a couple water hazards and a few sand traps. Super easy to walk this course. I was so good about not losing my balls til the 9th hole. Two balls lost to the lake! BOO!

The greens fee is $9 and definitely worth it for the hours of fun. The driving range smells bad though, I think it's lake water smell or something.

If your commute consists of driving down the 605, passing the 91, you probably noticed( or not ) the golf course right next to the freeway.

It's a par 3 course, driving range( ~250yds), along with a fully enclosed sand/wedge practicing area.

The facilities are clean, well lit, and well mananged.

Great place to practice those shots and warm up on the greens.

One of the more fun 9 hole courses.  Only 2 holes where you can pull out the driver, yet still fun.  Little lake comes into play on 3 holes.  There can be quite a wait on each tee here.  Course is in decent condition, yet tee boxes are worn out from all the duffers.

We come here for the driving range Friday nights. It's a pretty small place and sometimes we have to wait. You get a mix of people, sometimes a group of really ghetto loud kids come and ruin it. Most of the time it's older men and families. This is the closest golf course to my house so we come here. The Pro Shop is really small.
