This was my favorite golf course to play in North Texas.  The key to this place is that, for youth especially, it was cheap!  It is a really nice course that spans NE Loop 820.  

The best hole of my life was the 11th hole here.  I am not a great golfer, and one of my few birdies ever was the 11th.  What made it particularly great was that the 11th is the hole to the north of Loop 820, the entire hole runs right along the highway, so anyone who drives on 820 has seen it countless times.  My tee shot went slightlyt to the left.  My second shot, a 5-wood off the fairway, was PERFECT, came within 20 yards of the creek that fronts teh green.  Third shot was a 7-iron to 4 feet off the hole; 1-putt for a birdie (it is a par 5).

The course is typically immaculate, which is great for a muni.  If I lived in NRH, I'd never play anywhere else!
