One of my most favorite restaurants back in my hometown in southwest China in a restaurant located in a Buddhist temple. In spite of serving all dishes with veggies and tofu, they name each dish with the regular names often found in a typical Chinese family style restaurant, Kong Po Shrimp, Double Cooked Pork, and whatnot, and those dishes taste like the real thing.
I found a similar place like this in San Jose. It's a must-go for vegetarians and vegans. The place is cozy (not fancy). The food is creative and delicious, with ample choices to fit the tastes for every member of your family. And, the price is reasonable. It's an excellent choice for a weekday night eat-out for a couple or a family night out.
Try it. Highly recommended!
