Excellent service, people and products! Purchased an engagement ring from them and could not have been more happy with my experience! I shopped around for 6 months, but IAJ got me the best diamond for the price. What's more is that they are just such nice people to do business with! They treated me like family. You will not find a better jeweler than this! I will definitely be a customer for life.

I was desperate to get my engagement ring sized...a loose ring is super annoying. Since I work not far from jewelers row, I decided to take a quick walk and see if someone could get it sized stat.
I quickly ruled out New York Jewelers because there customer service was lacking and it was going to be over a day to get it sized. International Art Jewelers was my next stop...
15 minutes, less expensive and it was super clear that the person I interacted with knew his stuff. I was with a friend who is also engaged and they even steam cleaned her ring for free while we waited!! Easy and pleasant and now my ring fits perfectly. -

I highly recommend International Art Jewelers to anyone looking to buy a piece of jewelry. I bought an engagement ring there last fall and Michel was very helpful in answering all of my questions. He gave me a pretty good deal too on a GIA certified diamond, with him thoroughly discussing the 4C's (cut, color, clarity and carat weight).
I would encourage anyone to do their homework prior to buying a diamond (duh) so you can ask educated questions. Michel told me that I could pay cash or by credit card (of course).
The big call-out here is if you pay by cash, there is no tax, however, there is also no record of the transaction. Even though I already knew this, Michel mentioned it to me anyway and was not pushy about which route I went, which I thought was cool.
The only negative thing was Michel was very hesitant to let me use a loupe (eyepiece) to view the inclusions (imperfections) on the diamond, as well as to discuss his return policy, which made me skeptical and wary.
So, after buying the diamond and finding out about the return policy (30 days) I had the diamond appraised and inspected by an independent third party. While some minor inclusions were found, the appraisal was much more than what I had actually paid for it.
Michel just wanted me to "trust him" but of course, anyone could say that! In the end, I got a great deal on a quality diamond. Michel definitely is very knowledgeable and will take care of you, you might have to push him a bit though.
