honey wat eva u liiike i do fo uuuu.... yup that's what they say!!. =)

so I work really close by here and when am in a rush for doing my nails here is where I come during my lunch break!!.

The ladies are nice, always trying change what you want to do but you gotta let them know, NO! I want this and that's it, no flower, no glitter, no diamond--- IM GOOD!.... and they'll get down to business. can't blame them it's everyone's job to sell what they do!.

They are also a bit slooow which sometimes is a bit frustrating but my nails have always looked good when I get them done here so I recommend it !. another good things is that they  are not pricey.

Gotta give them 4 stars simply because I've had better!!.

I go there just because it is convenience.  It is not too difficult to get an appointment.   They do an OK job.
Nancy is my favorite.  Cindy is the manager and she is kind of moody.  I prefer QT nail anytime.

STAY AWAY! I just got acrylics there and am typing this review in great pain.

Lien did my nails and not only did she manage to irritate a couple of my fingers when filing, but she also managed to cut me on 6 fingers.  In fact, she cut off a CHUNK OF MY SKIN on one.  Then, she asked me to pay before she started the paint job.  I told her she cut my fingers a couple of times, one that was in great pain and burning during the rest of the time.  I would think that most businesses would not even charge a customer for such a ridiculous mistake but she had the nerve to offer me a $2 discount.  Preposterous!  I didn't feel like arguing so we just agreed at $15 (original price $20).

Lastly, Lien had to repaint my nails since the first time looked very unprofessional.  Actually, they still look like they were painted at home. :(

If you'd like to pay someone to chop off your skin and do an amateur paint job, then this is the place.  Otherwise I suggest you go elsewhere.

P.S.  I started a Yelp account just to write this review because I hope no one else has to go through this.  Getting a manicure should be a pleasant experience, not a bloody one.

I used to have a love/hate relationship with Instant Nails because they're good in many ways but used to be inconsistent.   They are clean, inexpensive and do great nail shape... but I never had any luck with their 'gel'.  For me, it made their paint jobs iffy - the gel would often peel the polish off.  After I switched to regular acrylic though, I've had no problems.  I always love my nails and their price!!

The facility is clean with pedicures on one side, a partial wall, and manicures on the other.  Go in, tell them what you want, pick your polishdesign and wait until they ask you to be seated.

See ya there! :)

Since moving to the Bay area I've been looking for a good place to get my nails done, and so far the best is Instant Nails, particularly Cindy.  I've been to get my pedicure done twice and my acrylics done once.  So far it is the best place for acrylics that I've found, out of the three places I've gone.  The dcor is nice and clean and everyone I've met there seems really nice, no pushy upselling beyond the "do you want a flower?".  When I had my white tips replaced, Cindy talked me into the subtly sparkly tips (not price difference than my usual white tips), and they are so cute, but not noticeable at a glance.

Instant Nails is not close to my house, about a 20 minute drive, but I will come back here!

I've been going to Instant Nails for 9 years. I'm very impressed with the service there. Heeeeeey Ms. Cindy, you do a great job with my Crystal nails! And you always give me what I want! The spa is AWESOME! I feel so relaxed there. The Staff there is so nice to me. I tried other near by Nail Salons in Sunnyvale. But wasn't satisfied. Cindy keeps the place really clean. YOU KNOW I'LL BE BACK!!!

I have been going to Cindy for years now and I love the work she does.  Her new location is much better than the Sunnyvale Town Center.

The pedi spa chairs are awesome.  Prices are reasonable and I rarely have one break!

I've deserted Beauty Nails on Homestead for Instant Nail in the Albertsons plaza.

I'll be honest, a big factor is that Instant Nail is closer to work *and* home.  And even though I feel it could be cleaner, it's a lot cleaner than the majority of Nail Salons I've been to, and the ladies are friendlier. I always get my full set done by Cindy (used to get them done by Rose but she cut me while filing my nails and didn't even apologize or offer to sanitize!!!) and my pedicure by Helen. Helen totally rocks on the pedi designs!  The ladies leave me alone if I feel like zoning out on my iPod while I get my mani/pedi at the same time.

I've gone with friends who've had their polish chip off, so bring your own OPI if you're prone to chipping. They have OPI, but not a wide selection.  They take walk ins, but they get super busy, so make an appointment.

Accepts credit cards, cash tip only.

Four  polished stars!

Based on the few reviews for Instant Nails, I thought I'd give it a try.  I typically go to Pinky's, but I figured I was due for a new place.

First of all, these are probably the best massage chairs I've been in.  Those alone warrant the 3 stars.  The location is only a few minutes from my house which is another plus.  The price board said a pedicure was $18, and $20 for a spa pedicure.  She didn't ask what kind I wanted so I assumed that I was just getting the "regular" pedicure.  When I went to pay, she charged me the spa price of $20.

Unfortunately, the pedicure was just so-so and I'm not sure I'd go back.  The massage was TOTALLY lackluster.  I brought my own polish so I didn't bother to check out their selection.

I can't say that I'd recommend this place to anyone and I don't think I'll be back unless it's some kind of pedicure emergency.

Sorry, Instant Nails.  You guys need to up your game a little bit.

You know the feeling when you go somewhere and you are wavering if you want to go back or not? That's how my friend and I felt after we left here.

The experience was just odd. However, the location and the cleanliness is A+, so we are unsure.

Here's the negatives...my technician was trying to upsell me the WHOLE time. Want flower? No. Want white tips? No. Want manicure? No. You sure? Flowers would look good. Pllleeeeasssse...please, I come to relax, and I've been getting pedicures for 12 years. I know what I want.

My friend's technician started out with commenting on how skinny she is, insistently commenting. Friend was super uncomfy. Then, the technician cut her toe while cutting her nails. Hmmm? Now, friend is annoyed, in pain, and super uncomfy.

OPI colors have not been updated in a long time, and have limited selection.

Those are the only negatives. The positives besides awesome location and cleanliness...I got a great pedicure. Yep, she was diligent on doing a good job on cleaning the cuticles, the massage, and painting.

We will probably try it again. Friend will definitely not let that lady help her again, and I think I can tune out the pushy upsell. I may want flowers on my toes in May, but hey, we are hitting Halloween now. Flowers?

Whatever you do, do NOT get the old woman with short curly hair. She is terrible! I'm so stupid that I went to her twice. The first time she messed up my nails, I figured maybe it was an off day, so I went back to the place. The second  time it was really crowded and I got seated at her chair before I knew it and didn't want to complain.
First she did my pedicure, and that was fine. The massage was okay, definitely not great, and the only good thing about her is that she's sweet and sometimes tried to talk with me (she CANNOT speak English well). But the manicure was horrible. I can't even see how she works as a manicurist because she is so bad! I wish I took a picture, but she missed spots all over my nails. Granted, my nails may be kind of hard because they're short, but I've never had any manicurist have problems with them before. She said we were done and I looked down in horror. I had to individually point out every spot that she missed, and all the clumps she made. Eventually I just got tired of asking her to fix it, so I left. I was with my mom and when my mom saw it, she demanded that we march back in and have another person take off my first polish and redo it because it was so bad. I really didn't want to make a scene, but ... you all know the power of mom. So, I had them redone by the manager (who didn't even apologize or see the problem with my original manicure!) and they were okay, but still not great or worth the hassle.
The price is right, though, at spa pedicure for $20 and manicure for $10. It is clean and in a convenient location. There is a very small selection of darker colors, so you may want to bring your own polish.

Last Sunday was the first time I had my refills and Pedicure done. I used to go to pronails in San Jose. They are good too but i rather go somewhere where its close to home so i decided to try Instant nails. One of the ladies, i forgot to take her name, she did my pedicure and she did a Excellent job. I was really happy. The other girl that did my refill on my nails was Helen.. Helen was alright. When she put the gel... I wanted until it was dry but then she polish my nails with alcohol  too quick and it was still sticky.. So i give this place a 4... Helen could have waited a little for my gel to dry....

The ladies at Instant Nails are great and really hook you up on the nails.  I have gotten manicures, pedicures and crystal nails done at this place.  Cindy, the owner, does nails the best so I always get an appt with her.  They also take walk ins so if you are in a crunch for time I am sure they can fit you in.

this is where i always go to get mani & pedi. cindy is always nice and very professional when doing my nails. she also waxed my eyebrows once and i loved how she shaped and trimmed it. the 2nd time i got my eyebrows waxed from her, i wasn't too happy. i specifically said i don't want it "round" but i ended up coming out there with upside down "u's" that lasted awhile..there's 2 other ladies that work there that are very good and nice...

Someone said this before, and I wish I had read the yelp reviews before going, but I will say it again, do not get the older woman with curly hair and glasses. She is terrible. She did my pedicure, and scrubbed the bones on the side of my feet, and it hurt! If I pull back wincing in pain, and it is not a callous, then please do not buff that area with that scratchy scrubber! So I had some red swelling on my skin where she should not have scrubbed. Then after that, the french pedi lines were all crooked. She messed up on my big toe and then tried to fix it by putting on another layer of gunk. She should have wiped the polish off and tried again, but she didn't. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there, since my foot was in pain from the scrubbing, and she was taking forever, and when she was done fixing, it didn't look fixed. What a waste of time and money. I am never going back.
