I've received nothing but the best in both color and cuts from Scot at Inspiration Salon! I've been to so many other places just trying to find someone to get it right, and then I found Scot!!!! Highly recommend him and hope this review will save you from spending anymore time wasted in finding the perfect haircut!
In all of the years of visiting my parents in Glencoe, I have never noticed a spa in the little shopping center flanked by Walgreens and the 7-11 where we used to try to buy beer as teenagers.
It's easy to miss because of its humble/plain exterior, but stepping inside, there is a whole lot of beautifying going on - it felt like suddenly the idyllic suburbs melted away and I had stepped into a portal to the OC. So this is where all of the Ladies Who Lunch are hiding!
I dropped in on a weekday afternoon in for an eyebrow wax, and even though they were very busy, were able to take me right away. Noushin, my aesthetician, did a wonderful job. She was so good and skilled that I decided to treat myself to a facial with her the next day. She did an amazing job analyzing and caring for my skin, and gave me some great recommendations for home care as I was leaving.
Prices are on the high side, but worth it. They do everything from hair to nails to facial treatments. I am so pleased that they are conveniently located so that I can plan an escape from my parents' whenever I need to, and be back in time for dinner. I will definitely visit Noushin when I am in town - and would highly recommend her services.
Love Jennifer and Liz for Color. Very reasonable pricing. The Salon isn't not high end in terms of products like Kerestase and decor (its old style, formerly Pascals) but I moved out of State and cant find anyone here that compares to Jennifer and or Liz. I am commuting for color. Parking on the weekends is a nightmare.
I would recommend Inspiration Salon 100%! I just received a keratin hair treatment from Scot and my hair has never looked better. I have always struggled with the frizz& curl in my hair and have tried everything to tame it. My hair is healthy and shiny looking and has never felt better. It's a miracle I can actually blow-dry it myself! Believe me, I was totally skeptical;but Scot has never steered me wrong(great cuts and color too!). I'm so glad I did it. I've also had my nails and eyebrows done here and everyone does a great job. Even the receptionists are nice!!--- Highly recommended.
I would highly recommend Salon Inspriration. This place is incredible!! My new stylist Nazrin is so amazing at what she does! I can honestly say that this is the best hair style and color that I have recieved since moving from NY. Growing up in a NY Salon(my mom is a stylist), I realized it would be difficult to find a good salon out here in Glencoe. The salon is definitely the place to visit for those who are seeking a fantastic hair style that makes them look good on any ocassion. The hairdressers here are professional, talented and experienced. I was so impressed with the look of the salon, as well as the friendly atmosphere. If your looking for that perfect cut or color, this is the place for you.I have never felt so good about myself as I did once I walked out of that salon. I promise you won't be disappointed.
