I really like this place. I've been to both Almaden and Santana Row locations--all are pretty much similar as far as decor and cleanliness goes.
At this location, I was able to make a same day appointment (I was in there within 1.5 hours of my phonecall). The person who answered the phone was very friendly, and made great recommendations for which type of massage to get. BTW, all the massages are the same price!
My massage therapist (i forgot her name!) immediately found my problem area, and spent a great amount of time working out the knots.

I'm like butta...right now...Tracey...that girl..she had her work cut out with all my nots, I was notty as usual.....too much internet...She went to town! I am a stickler for time, I got my EXACT hour and a half from the minute she entered and I was ON the table hour n' a half!!
Clean, nicely decorated, soothing music.....music calms the savage beast, I am WAY less tense now..... The staff is friendly too!
I like how they have a SET fee with the tip included! $79 for an hour $110 for an hour and a half! (and it's all the same price even if it's swedish or deep tissue)
I got the Signature message, which she implemented deep tissue after she checked out what a mess I was.

I went to this Inspa the other day and the manager was not nice. I give this place NO STARS! The manager is soo mean! Workers are okay , but the manager is out of hands. DO NOT GO TO INSPA. I really dont like it at all. You can walk into a diffrent Nail Salon and get better managment. I do not like tha manger, shes really mean. Not nice one bit. Mean to her Workers and to the Customers.
It sounds like you experience at this place has a great deal to do with who you get for your facial or massage. I got Crystal for my facial. She left to let me get undressed and onto the massage table. She took so long to come back, I almost got dressed again to go out and find her. For part of the facial she just sat there and then it ended early. I would say my 60 minute facial was more of a 40-45 minute facial at most. Had I know this ahead of time, I would not have paid $79 for that mini treatment.

UPDATE 6/27/2008:
I just went for a massage last night and it was great. Lori was super nice and very patient with me. You see, I'm not the best customer for massages because I'm super ticklish and then I get twitchy. But Lori totally worked around it and had the perfect amount of pressure, nice and strong. She worked on my knots like the pro that she is, and she found knots that I didn't even know I had! I was so relaxed and sleepy afterwards, that I could have totally fallen asleep right then and there.
I don't get manis and pedis too often. It's more of a treat for me, than a regular occurrence. And I gotta say, this was quite a treat. Julie was very friendly and I turned to putty in her very strong and capable hands. I prefer my massages a little on the stronger side, and she used just the right about of pressure. My feet, legs, hands, and arms felt awesome afterwards. And my nails look beautiful. My only complaint is that they don't have a mani / pedi combo package. I paid $65 for both services, which I think is a little pricey. But I will be back for other services, I'm sure.
I am at the very least, a fervent spa-goer. My husband claims I am borderline obsessive. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when Inspa opened less than a mile away from home. As a test shoot, I tried all of their "signature" services, including mani and pedi, facial, massage, and bikini wax.
I am hooked!
The place is clean, fresh, and welcoming. The staff in warm and very accommodating. I was running about 15 mines late for my appt. and the ladies up front assured me it would be no problem and I was whisked away into hours of bliss. My facial was excellent, the esthetician gave a great consultation and customized a mask for my skin type. They have all sorts of waxes. When I was given a tour an employee explained they use different waxes for different skin types, including sensitive skin. Super impressive. The spa carries a skin care line unique to their facility where the prices are affordable and the return policy (30 days) assured me I was getting my moneys worth. After an accident last year I have some pretty bad back problems, which my massage therapist handled diligently and with such care I gave her a hug on my way out. My mani and pedi were great, I laughed and joked with my manicurist, and found it interesting that everyone seemed to know each other. The front desk walked around and asked how everyone's service was, offered water and magazines, even closed out my bill for me while my nails were drying, great touch.
All in all I had an excellent experience. I have returned about half a dozen times since then with the mother-in-law. Our relationship has oddly improved!
Ha!
Booo for InSpa!!!! If I could give zero stars, I would without the least bit of hesitation!!
I went with my mom to get pedis about a week ago. We had never been to InSpa before but decided to try it out since it was new and appeared to be a sanitary facility. In regards to the pedi, both my mom and I were led to the chairs upon arriving and both our nail technicians came out and began to set up. About two minutes later the women who was going to do my naills (She was an older Asian women whose named I don't exactly recall, mabye Nhi, or something along those lines) got up and left, and WAS GONE FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES!!! She didn't even tell me where she was going, just straight up, got up and left, and when she came back just sat down and started off where she left, no explanation, and empty handed, so its not as if she was going in the back (for 15 mins) to get tools or what not. Anyway, the pedicure continues and the woman working on my feet has to constantly stop and ask the woman working on my moms feet what she should do next. InSpa, don't hire people if they don't know what they're doing, I'm not going to pay $40 for a pedi and have a half ass job. Throughout the pedicure my mom and I were trying to carry on a conversation but the two nail ladies kept loudly talking amongst themselves in Vietnamese, seemingly trying to talk over us. The two women also had a lengthy conversation discussing if another women who worked at the salon would be coming in later that day. Apparently it was "such" a big issue, that my nail lady felt it necessary to get up, leave me, go find the receptionist, and make sure the receptionist called this woman to let her know she worked that night. ARE U FING KIDDING ME!
Then, once it came time for the woman to give me a leg/foot massage, she practically refused to because the hair on my legs was a bit longer. You're not supposed to shave right before a pedi because open hair follicles is an easy route for bacteria to enter. So instead of focusing on my feet (versus my legs) she gave me a one minute massage, while my mom's was closer to 10 mins. After my mom and I had polish put on, and it had dried, my mom's nail tech came back out and put a top coat on top, whereas mine didn't. So the lady who did my mom's nails had to put my topcoat on because my lady obviously had no idea what her job description entailed.
I will never never never go back to InSpa for any service after my one and only trip to InSpa. I would have gone to any random nail salon if I knew I would have received the service I did, and would have much rather spent my money at a reputable spa.
Thank goodness InSpa you have a "no-tipping" policy, because the lady who did my nails sure was not anywhere close to receiving one.
