This place has potential to be a truly topnotch resort once ALL of the renovations are completed, but I have to say, the staff is fantastic. We recently held our wedding reception at Seventh Mountain Resort (their "new" name) and we really happy. Our on-site contact was responsive during the entire planning process, which was SO helpful since we were planning our wedding from Seattle.

The renovated rooms are nice and aren't super expensive (you are looking at about $165 for a one-bedroom renovated condo). The nice thing is that the offer a variety of price points which was a great thing for us to extend to our guests. 99% of our wedding guests stayed at Seventh Mountain and everyone was really happy...from the pool(s) to the hot tubs to the breakfasts at Seasons Restaurant in the morning...

The Resort is the closest to Mount Bachelor (a huge plus in the winter) and on-site offers tennis courts, horseback riding (in season), whitewater rafting (which many of our guests took advantage of), a putt-putt course, volleyball, horseshoes, playgrounds, fitness center, bike rentals etc... In the winter they even have an ice skating rink!

For weddings the resort offers a variety of options...from their Mt. Bachelor Events tent, to the larger ballrooms or the Broken Top Room, which is the one we selected because of the adjacent patio and 2 fireplaces in the room. We loved being able to have our reception and guests all in one location...didn't have to worry about anyone getting home after the event. I highly recommend Seventh Mountain for your wedding reception (we did not have our ceremony on-site).

What a great resort!!  This place is spacious, relaxing and beautiful!  We loved the King Suites with 2 bathrooms and 2 patios...worked wonderfully with our children.

I recently spent just one night here while on a road trip from San Jose, CA, and let me say one night was a total teaser.

There were so many activities to enjoy, and we only had time for one of them. We did the "mini" white water rafting trip, which is about a 45 minute on the water excursion (2 hours total). I call it a mini trip because it was just enough to wet your pallet if you find yourself loving it, and just long enough to maintain composure if you end up hating it.  Our River Guide, Jason, was awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable and obviously very experienced. In fact, all the recreation staff was great.

The accommodations were pretty sweet for the price. The grounds were super nice, and in a great location. The pools are great, and kept at a wonderful temp of 85 degrees. The condos were equipped with all the necessities, and the on-site store was well stocked with all the goods you need for a quick breakfast.

Like I said in the beginning of this review, one night was just not enough.   The Inn of the Seventh Mountain is mos def on my list of places that I want to return to, but next time with a stay of at least 4 nights. This is a fabulous place for families, couples, and groups of friends alike.

This place is pretty cool. It's way better than sun river. They have plenty-O- parking. We had 6 trucks with trailers on and no one gave us a hard time about it. The condo we stayed in was smaller than we thought it would be. But was nice. My favorite part about the place was the deck. Each night we were there they had some awesome lightning storms to watch while eating dinner. All in all I would go back and stay there again.

Ok, first let me admit that I have never stayed here. Looking at the reviews, perhaps I should. This review is based on their horseback riding excursions. Some of the most quality horses I have ever seen at a day trip rental. The guides are kind and know what they are doing. Plus our dude was handsome. Anywho, The day trip takes you along the river, in winter its especially pretty. Thanks for bringing the Schnapps uncle Paul!

I stayed here for only one night on a drive through from Mammoth to Spokane.  My only complaint is that during slow season they don't serve dinner at one of the restaurants on site and the other was closed by 9:00pm which was unfortunately when I rolled into town.  However, I was  still able to get a couple Black Butte Porters, so it wasn't a complete loss.  I loved the stay, half price during April and May got me a one bedroom for $100.  I opened up the door to the back deck that night and heard nothing but frogs in the river right below me.  In the morning we had a great view of the river and the mountains off in the distance as well as a number of feathered and furry visitors on the deck.   The room itself was very comfortable and clean, I was very dissapointed that I was only staying one night, it was really more than I needed, we didn't even use the living room.

Great place for fun in the Oregon forests.  This destination resort is built in the Deschutes National forest and is the closest lodging to Mount Bachelor ski resort.  Its a beautiful resort and they go all out for fun activities in the summer and good ski packages and activities in the winter.  Your kids will love it here and I think you would too.  Excellent views out the back (ask for a mountain view).  I used to work there ages ago and they emphasized (and emphasized) customer service.  I felt they hired employees that honestly enjoy people.   I have great memories of the Inn, and especially the river running expeditions and skiing.  I learned to ski on Mt. Bachelor and its a fabulous place to ski.   There is a roller skate rink (summer) and ice skate rink (winter), games, kids programs, hikes, 2 restaurants and a little coffee/mkt.  Lots of things to do all four seasons.  My favorite time working there was the autumn, when it was very quiet and the skies were cornflower blue.

Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I've stayed at Stein Ericksen Lodge in Utah, and anything else just doesn't meet 5 stars...

My Husband  and I read the reviews and decided to give the resort Inn of the Seventh Mountain a try.  It was such a great place.  We had a view of the mountains and the river from our outside deck, with furry and feathery critters hovering from time to time.  Hiking along the river was spectacular in Autumn.  We used the half off coupon for dinner at their Restaurant which turned out to be top notch.  We love the Bend Oregon area especially in late September.
