Inn At Quail Run the
1 review for Inn At Quail Run the
This Inn has the look of a formerly upscale Inn that has moved a little down scale. It is still a lovely, comfortable place which feel remote and out of the way while highly accessible - just a mile or so off of Rt. 100. It's a comfortable place and the current owners pride themselves on running a place that is relaxed and fun and not a bit stuffy. Victoria, the hostess, says she does not want to run a place where "people feel like they have to whisper."
Amenities include a heated outdoor pool, a ping-pong room, and a movie viewing room. There are two Llamas on the large grounds and some hiking trails nearby. A highlight is the included gourmet breakfast (with items such as a lobster and boursin omelet). The Inn is family run and the kids do most of the breakfast service.
Another selling point is that the Inn is very dog friendly. The owners obviously love dogs and welcome them, although they charge extra for them.
If you are looking for an immaculately kept place, this isn't it. While it is clean, details such as non-matching chairs in the dining area, lamp shades that have aged past the point where they should be replaced, siding badly in need of fresh paint or cuts in wall board that have not been plastered over or repainted, might be off-putting to some.
