This is what I call a hidden gem.  I've probably driven by this place 15 times and never even knew it existed.

My mom was in town last weekend and stayed here, and the place is just too charming for words.  It's got that ol' fashioned b&b feel, complete with home cooked breakfast breads & scones, and a happy hour wine and cheese display.  The rooms are cozy, but very clean and comfortable complete with an over sized love seat.

Although they don't have a spa, they were very helpful in setting up a masseuse to come and give my mom and me massages in the room.

What a great place for a getaway!

A little piece of the east coast on the west coast.  Very much felt like I was staying somewhere in the Hamptons.  The place was charming.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  I loved the rooms and found them very comfortable and homey while still being stylish.  They have a lovely wine and cheese hour in the evening and a nice little breakfast set up in the morning.  All you could really ask for and the price is right especially for this area.  Also, nice parking area with plenty of ample spaces and they don't charge you extra for it like a lot of places in LA do.

There are some restaurants within walking distance.  We went to the The Outpost and had some great food..a bit on the pricey side, but the food was delicious and simple.  Little bars and holes in the wall line the street so if you want to get your drink on and then roll back to the Inn, it's very convenient.  It certainly isn't in the hussle and bussle of things as far as the city goes..but you are so close to it, it's just a short drive away.

I would highly recommend.

Very nice Inn! Husband and I stayed there for two nights. When we had parked on the ground floor (free) and checked in the employee showed us the breakfast room where tea (and maybe coffee) is available around the clock for free. In the living room there is complimentary wine and cheese every evening. The Inn has a selection on DVD/VCR movies they lend to the guest. There is a desk with computer and printer and free Wifi (somewhat weak signal in our room).

In the room there was a hand written welcome note and two yummy cookies waiting. Our room was crisp and clean on the second floor overlooking the bird sanctuary. The king bed held lots of pillows and a duvet comforter. We had been upgraded at no extra charge! Very quiet location. We had a gas fireplace in out room and in the bathroom there was a whirlpool bathtub.

Complimentary breakfast contained orange juice, cereals, coffee, yogurt, eggs, some kind of egg souffle, toast, fruit, home made muffins of various kinds etc. Place setting of Villeroy&Boch china was romantic and "Inn-ish" with gas fireplaces.

The Inn has complimentary bikes and helmets for guest to borrow. They also have beach towels guest can borrow and a fridge with sodas/softdrinks for a small feel. We were not at the inn in the afternoons so I can not say if they had cookies and muffins but when we walked by the kitchen they were always baking!

There is just a short walk/bike ride down to the beach. The next door neighbor is a Chinese restaurant and down the street there are at least two coffee shops, two hamburger places, one Italian restaurant and one French. Along a side street there were more restaurants. At the Inn they have a binder in the living room with restaurant menues so guests can look at what is available in the neighborhood.

We had a very nice stay and I highly recommend this inn. When we factored in that breakfast, bikes, parking, wifi were included it did not seem like too expensive. Very nice staff.

Tiny hotel that verges on being a B&B.  They are incredibly welcoming and always remember if you have stayed with them and your preferences, etc. etc.

Every room is different, and all are very nice.

They do an EXCELLENT hot breakfast in the morning, including all the traditional Continental stuff and a fresh egg dish.  They also do cookies and wine in the afternoon.  A close friend of mine worked the front desk when we were in school, and we would beg her to bring us cookies back at night.  So good.

Real attention to detail.  A little pricey, but I think that sort of care is worth it.

Can I just say how charming of a jewel this place is. My friend, Nicole works here and I am happy she does. Never in a million years would I ever think a charming place could be smacked into the borderline of Marina del Rey and Westchester, CA.
I had a baby shower last weekend and this place saved me on my out of town guest. My guest could not stop talking about how cute the room was down to the personal service. The ladies at this Inn do totally go out the way to make you feel so special. Oh, and the chocolate chip cookies are to die for.  Very pleased with how my weekend for  my out of town guest turned out. Would send them and other's I know to this place no doubt. Peace and Charm in crazy LA LA land. You have to spend a night here at least once!!!
Clean, crisp, takes you back to the Summer days in Cape Cod, relaxing, yummy cookies, yummy cheese and wine, mellow and just the right touch of comfort.

You want to feel like you are at the eastern coastside but still in California? OMG! This Inn I found to spend the weekend with my daughter was heaven!!! I felt like I walked into a Pottery Barn Magazine entering this hidden gem. There is always a scent of freshly baked breads, scones and cakes for the guests to graze. French Doors lead out to the wetland preserve with a breeze of fresh salt air gently on course. The living room is so beautifully furnished and very appropriately for the setting. Wine, cheese and other goodies are set for the guest in the latter part of the afternoon. After dinner, we sauntered over to the country like dining room where desserts from the day were packaged seperately so we could bring them to our rooms. By the way, Arriving we received beautiful freshly backed chocolate cookies in our rooms with a personal note from the staff. The mornings were hard to leave because the smells of freshly cooked breakfast. Pinks and lavendar flowers surrounded the Inn...What more can you ask for? I would think more days to stay....This place is Magic! Leave your "to do list" at home.
