The Inn is right on the waterfront with sailboats docked at the marina on the edge of the house. This place captures the elegance of Connecticut. The small town charm of Niantic is irresistible. It's also quite close to Mystic where Mystic Pizza was filmed. Trust me, you'll love it there!

My husband and I took a B&B tour of New England, starting in Connecticut and moving on to Vermont and Maine. We have experienced many B&Bs on the West Coast, and were looking to find new favorites now that we live on the East Coast. We started our tour at the Inn at Harbor Hill. It was the most expensive Inn we stayed at, and the most disappointing. The Inn is located in what sounds and looks like an industrial area. The train, traffic, and noise from the marina were not conducive to relaxation. The Inn itself is charming enough and clean, although we never did meet the innkeepers - just people who appeared to be hired help. The room was very small, and there really wasn't a very comfortable or spacious common area to go to. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, as everything offered was something I could get at home (cereal, yogurt in a carton, etc.) There was no fresh fruit other than a basket with some bananas, apple, and oranges. Breakfast was pancakes, plain and simple. Not even blueberry pancakes or something special. No meat was served, but it wasn't a 'vegetarian' Inn. It would have been nice to have some protein before hitting the road instead of a bunch of carbs that made us sleepy. I really wanted to like this Inn, but especially for the price, it was very disappointing. The rest of the Inns on our tour were wonderful, and the experience overall was a great one, but we will not be returning to the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina.

Love, love, love this place! I go every year for the past 5 years and I look forward to visiting this lovely B&B. Its close to Mystic Aquarium and Seaport and wineries. The breakfast is nice and hot on weekends. Innkeepers are welcoming, informed with various itineraries of things to do and they will take you out on their little boat in summer. Great place! Very relaxing!

We are a beautiful, award-winning, waterfront Bed and Breakfast located just south of and minutes from Mystic, CT., and a short 2 hour drive from either New York city and/or Boston. All of our guest rooms have been named after famous local New England lighthouses and offer private bathrooms, water views, cable TV, CD player, wireless high speed internet, paddle fan and air conditioning. Most have a queen bed and some rooms have two beds, and a few have private Balconies and fireplaces. All room rates include a complimentary classic breakfast buffet (with hot entrée) offered each morning in our Bayview dining room, and complimentary refreshments and snacks are available 14 hours per day. We are within easy walking distance to Niantic Village where unique boutique shops, antiques, restaurants, movie theater, the beach and the Niantic Bay Boardwalk all await you.
