Amazing and unique experience. Can be a bit pricey but if you can afford it - very worth it. Especially if you love wine. This place is magnificent. It was my first trip to Temecula. The first of what will undoubtedly prove to be very many.
Let it first be said that is vineyard is gorgeous. It has a valley view to the right and mountains of course on both sides. You can see the fields of Grapes here as well as at least 3 other close by vineyards both from the upper gardens/fountain area as well as from the patios attached to each of the rooms.
I didn't just go for the wine tasting. I in fact don't have a deep love for wine. I can recognize quality and can detect high notes, low notes, and aftertaste of course. I just cant bring myself to love the stuff. I actually went to this location for an overnight celebration of the first anniversary of my marriage. My wife on the other hand - loves wine. And she adores quaint romantic locations. The Inn at Churon Winery is a whole lot of that.
All that being stated I will now tell you that a great way to go if your looking for a romantic getaway - is to get the Rest and relaxation package. If you were going to do most of those things anyway - it allows you to do them and pay less. It's still a pretty penny but you have to remember that quality is not cheap.
The rest and relaxation package includes a few things and I will be happy to tell you about them. You also get a huge discount if you do it during the week as opposed to on the weekend. You get a Vineyard view room for 1 night, a Private 50-minute in-room massage for 2(simultaneously at that - and in your room), as well as an Afternoon guest-only wine hour (think all you can stand without falling unconscious wine tasting), the truth is, there is still more and you might not want to get trashed before you share the immaculate setting where you will enjoy Dinner for 2, and a Gourmet breakfast for both of you in the morning
Depending on the season and at what stage they are in - they also might give you some free whine. We were given a bottle of Cab, a bottle of Zin, and a bottle of port. Due to the fact that between the one hour of wine tasting and the 5 flights of wine you will be seeing at your romantic dinner - I recommend stowing whatever free bottles they give you for when your back home.
So, the massage. They have a contract with a local masseuse whom brings a partner. They have massage tables with them and they bring their own tunes, and oil, hot stones, lotions, they have all kinds of fun stuff. That being said - they can do either Swedish style or deep tissue. These are big strong women - so I recommend Swedish. They will have you take off whatever amount of clothes your comfortable with. And they will massage all the way from the top of your skull all the way to the balls of your feet. They also will ask if you want hot stone massage or chakra points worked etc... Your answers will probably be very different depending on how much massage you typically get. This massage takes like 45 minutes. I would suggest throwing them a decent tip as they are well worth it.
Also, it helps if you have scheduled said massage in a timely enough manner so that you can make the hour long guest only wine tasting in the wine cellar. In this way - once you are all relaxed and drooling from the massage you can go down and drink your fill of wine. In this way you can help the drooling continue.
Now that you have tried all the wines they have downstairs - its back up to the front stone deck to think about dinner. They have a dining room just off the front stone deck with valley views. They have a beautiful setting and really nice dinnerware/glasses. This is important because your doing a 5 course meal with 5 courses of wine.
Before coming here I emailed them twice to make sure they knew that we don't eat meat(we do eat fish/seafood). When I got a response is was obvious to me that they weren't too worried about their ability to find something that they could cook and we would like to eat no matter what our dietary restriction. What they knew and I did not is that they have a ton of ingredients and chef hanging out waiting for whatever few people come for the night to order.
So, we finally went on into the dining room and sat down. And they brought us iced tea, water, and our first glass of wine. They brought bread and our first course etc...and asked us what we were thinking for an entree. We eventually went with a macadamia encrusted sea bass for both of us.
Our meal was amazing. Truly 5 star food even if the place had been a dump. And the place is magnificent. My wife said that 4 of the 5 wines were great. The dessert wine was only average. But, the bottle of port we got for free ended up being really good so maybe it was just how they matched the specific wine with the food. We had creme brulee and chocolate souffle for dessert - it was impressive. Dessert kind of reminded me of Roy's Hawaiian Fusion...

This place is also known as Churon Winery when searching on yelp. Overall horrible. Will never go back. If you got some time ... read the rest of this review but to put it in simple words ... only go here if you'rr drunk from all the wine drinking and you have no other place to go.
We had reservations ... Paid almost $300.00 for one night with breakfast & wine tasting.
As we entered the front door, smelled something funky. My wife said something about it but I tried to brush it off and make the best of it. Got to the front desk to meet the rudest front desk lady/customer service/manager. We were there early thinking that check-in was @ 1pm or so but check-in was @ 3pm. I didn't mind so much since we didn't asked on the phone ... until she said that we were already warned about the 3pm check-in on the phone when we booked the room. Again It didn't really bother me that check-in was at 3pm ... not like we can't go somewhere to drink some wine and come back. The fact that she said that we were warned and we weren't ... it somewhat pissed me off. But again ... I'm kick back and was ready to move on. The lady up front continued the conversation and said that check-in everywhere else is @ 3pm or later at any hotel. This is where I felt like she was talking to us like we are not customers and that she's better than us. So we walked out to go look around for another place to stay. I wasn't happy after talking to this lady ... I wanted to cancel. 10 min. later ... we found another place with a 12pm check-in and called her to let her know that we like to cancel. She told us that she's the manager and that we can't cancel and to come back because she has our room ready. I found that funny ... the minute we find another place ... she got us our room. And she's the manager!!! How is this place in business with her being the manager. To avoid headaches and to not ruin our time away from home, we went back.
Part of me said that at least she's making some effort to give us some customer service .... so we came back and decided to make the best of it again. Big mistake.
We got our room key and were directed to park in the back so we can enter the door near our room. When we got there ... the door did not work. Walked back to the lady and she said that the door is broken and we have to go from the front. I went back to get our stuff when some nice gentleman who worked there opened the door for us from the inside with out her telling him. We walked up the stairs to the 2nd floor and that's when we smelled some kind of funky odor again. Smelled like armpit. The hallways are beat up and needs to be renovated if they want to charge what they do. We walked in our room and the room is nice. We were actually very happy with the room. Balcony with a good view. Fire place is nice. Bathroom is good size. Towel had a hole in it and are small. Overall good room and that's why I gave them one star.
Later that day we did some wine tasting around town and came back for the one hour wine tasting. Wish we had more time but all good. Wine was okay.
The next day we went in for the breakfast downstairs and was disappointed. Got one plate of Eggs Benedict each and it wasn't that great for me since it had too much lemon sauce or something like that. I didn't mind so much since I was hungry and I eat anything but I actually was thinking of not eating haha. My wife had a bite and that was enough for her. She hated it. I guess for the money we paid ... I was thinking they will have more food and better quality. When we check-out ... the lady knew we were unhappy. My wife didn't want to go in detail but since we just ate, my wife mentioned about the eggs benedict. The lady was so closed minded that she kept claiming that it's the best eggs benedict in town. That was a good laugh.
Although we had a bad experience here ... we had a good time at other locations in Temecula.
What a place! A medium sized bed and breakfast within the vineyard. We stayed in the Zinfandel Suite, overlooking the northern edge of the property.
Room was well appointed with a king bed, fireplace, large, private terrace, jacuzzi tub, glass enclosed shower (room enough for 2) and a kick ass surround system.
At 5pm, the winery hosts a private tasting with passed appetizers for guests only. This is a great way to end the afternoon and relax prior to hitting the road for dinner.
In the morning, a cooked to order breakfast is available in the dining room. The food quality is great. Selections are fresh, hot and quickly served by the Inn's excellent staff.
Check out their web page. Rates are better during the mid-week. It's nice to have a place to stay after a long day of wine tasting. The Inn at Churon certainly is that.

I stayed here a year ago and it was amazing!
It was during the temeculah film fest- it was September, mine and my boyfriends bdays and two year anniversary. Our band was playing the festival and we thought we would celebrate our three special days while we were there. Unfortunately all the hotels in the area were booked due to the festival. I was freakin out. The only room i could find was at a bad overpriced discount chain hotel... super romantic ;( ... until I checked Yelp and found the Inn at Churon Winery. I called and they had one room available... for $275 a night (choke!) I thanked her and told her that was a bit outta my price range. I explained the situation (anniversary, bdays, band playing, blah blah) she put me on hold to talk to the manager. Came back and offered me the room for $150 a night!!! When we arrived we were treated like rockstar newlyweds- the room was stunning, came with a complimentary bottle of red and white, french doors looking out to the rolling hills of the vineyard, king sized bed, fireplace, unbelievable. The service was amazing and the folks there even came to see our band play!
I highly recommend this sweet bed and breakfast to anyone!.

Beautiful setting, excellent service and great access in wine country. The B&B's wineries are OK, but the rooms and dining are fine. Great jacuzzi tub and excellent views.
