We recently had our wedding here and I can't say enough nice things about the staff, location, ambiance and price! They were extremely flexible, really wanted everything to be perfect for us and really made us feel at home. I primarily worked with Rachel to arrange everything and she in particular was a gem! I loved working with her- never a problem! The Inn features 7 rooms in the main building and a carriage house with another 3 rooms, all beautifully decorated and with private bathrooms. We were able to rent the entire property and used every inch! It set the perfect stage for a beautiful outside wedding and was very affordable for a Napa location. The owner worked a deal for us because of a common friend but even without that it would have been priced well. Rooms are around $200/nt depending on the room/season, breakfast is included and nearly every night they have special wine pourings from local wineries. We were lucky enough to have Christina Shappell from Castello de Amorosa there and she really shared a lot with us about wine and the castle!

Overall I couldn't say more good things about our experience here! We'll definitely be back for the anniversary!

This place was great and we got such a great deal on it. Breakfast was great. The bed was comfy. They have some great coupons for 2-for-1 tasting which we used. I think the place is a perfectly situated between Yountville and St Helena.

The only thing I did not enjoy was the sulfury scent from the shower. But I learned to get use to it because it was drawn from well water, which I think is better for the environment anyway.

The Ink House was a wonderful place to stay on our first visit to the Napa area.  Rachel, who took care of the inn during the mornings, was an excellent host and made special accomodations for vegan diet.

Rooms were clean and had very nice antique furniture.  The house is perfectly situated along Hwy 29, with views of the nearby Vineyards and a large wrap around porch to sit and enjoy a few sips of complimentary port or sherry.

One night the owner joined us for a wine and cheese tasting, held often in the late afternoons at the inn.  He entertained us all with the history of the house built in 1884, and described the month long stay of Elvis Presley during his filming of Wild in the Country.

Highly recommended.  If you are adventurous enough, there is a short 2 mile hike along the road and through the Vinyeards to St. Helena where you can find several restaurants.

Great location and a lovely house.  The breakfast is good.  I took their bikes for a ride in the surrounding areas, and enjoyed the complimentary port and sherry when I got back.  Great value!

The Ink House delivers an absolutely phenomenal experience!  If you're looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place!    The Ink House is a large Victorian B&B sitting on some of the most prized real estate in the Napa Valley.  The beautiful home sits alone on beautifully manicured grounds and is nestled between some of the most well known wineries in the Valley.

The Owners are warm, charming, and very gracious, making you feel like one of the family.  We spent over an hour speaking with the innkeeper who had some great stories to tell about the history of this 100+ home :)  We felt like "Valley Insiders" with the great guidance provided by the owners.  We can't wait to go back this fall for another weekend! :)

Wow, location location location. This pale yellow victorian style bed and breakfast is nestled between yountville and st helena, surrounded by a ton of wineries some you could even walk to. Very lovely people, we sat on the porch and enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheeses set oit in the afternoon which was great. Good breakfast, very fresh, with a fruit, an egg dish, and bread. The price was very good for the california wine country!

The Ink House is a large, sprawling Victorian home serving as a bed and breakfast, centrally located mid way up the Napa Valley on Highway 29. It is surprisingly quiet inside to be right on the highway as it is. The rooms vary in size and amenities (ask for the room where Elvis once stayed if its available!) There are great views here, especially from the observatory perched on top of the house.

On the downside the plumbing left a lot to be desired with very erratic (sometimes non-existent) water pressure, the room was freezing cold, the staff was hard to locate for questions or assistance, and the "breakfast " aspect of this B&B (usually a highlight elsewhere)  was disappointing, comprised of two breads, a simple fruit cup and a small slice of cheesy frittata.

    Comfy beds+quiet rooms+NO kids with us=PERFECT!
Breakfasts were yummy & friendly service was great!
Rooms were a little on the cool side but there is a stick in the hallway that'll close those vents right up! Remember that stick peeps!
Many complimentary passes downstairs for free wine tastings or the 2-for-1 deals!!!
The low water pressure was no big deal folks-it's not like the water was trickling!
Central location was a plus! And take advantage of the bikes!
We will definitely stay here again!!

I had stayed at the Ink House with my friend for two days mid-week in April. We had a terrific experience there. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we were even lucky enough to be upgraded to a king-size suite when we checked in!!

The bed and breakfast's grounds are lovely to walk through or just look at from the "meditation tower" at the top of the house. We went to the rec room basement area one night and entertained ourselves with pool, darts, and the piano:) Our room was very comfortable- one of the softest beds and comforters I can remember! The breakfasts were yummy and included delicious fresh fruit and usually some breads and a frittata. The complimentary "happy hour" from 5-6 is worth checking out, as they tend to have some good wine and snacks, and if you're lucky you get to listen to the Innkeeper tell stories about when Elvis stayed there:) You also get some perks for wine tasting at neighboring wineries, and we really enjoyed that!

Overall, we were both very happy and pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay at the Ink House. I recommend it for friends and couples:) We will be sure to book a room there the next time we go back!
