It seems as if something is always going on at Inglenook park. I never when there as a young child, but when they put in the HUGE play scape my friends and I would just hangout and such. It's a very kid/family friendly park, with TONS of room to run around and play. There are trails in the very back through the woods that are pretty darn cool.
the park is absolutely beautiful in the fall when the leaves change colors.

There aren't many parks (at least nearby) that are better.

What a great place to spend a little time with the whole family!

Also known as the "Farm Park", Inglenook provides visitors with a handicap accessible play structure, a "tot's area", restrooms (one female and one male), reservation only base/softball fields, a 1km (little more then a half mile) gravel walk/jog path, open spaces, and ample parking.  A little something for everyone.

You will always find plenty of visitors, but only the big kid's play structure ever feels crowded to me. And if you can tolerate the running, even these crowds are manageable.

Bring snacks, beverages, and hand wipes. The toilet seats seem to be everyone's target. Not sure why. The nearby Kroger offers the only other "public" facility in the area.

For food, you're limited to the local pizza and sub shops. But hey, a $5 pizza tastes better on the grass after a walk with the fam anyway.

By far my favorite place to get a quick run in. Clean (usually), safe, family oriented, toilets, and almost 100 pounds of my former self. Yep, I'm a fan!

Every summer my friends and I head out to Inglenook to have a "Team Picnic"...which basically consist of chicken wings, wine and girl talk. We always choose this location because it's peaceful, spacious and out of the way from the hectic city sounds. Many people come here to walk around and exercise, and there is always a ton of kids hanging out at the playground area. We noticed that time we went that they removed many of the picnic tables. I can't really understand why they would do that, but either way we just brought out a comforter and laid around on the grass.

Cherice is right. This is a beautiful park. I'm usually here twice a week to hopefully tire my son out. There are at least a hundred other kids here at any given time. My son absolutely loves this park. They have plenty of seating for the parents in a shaded area. The restrooms are nicely kept and there are ice cream trucks in the parking lot in case the little ones get thirsty. I recommend bringing your own snacks since the park provides tables. They do have the areas separated for smaller kids but my son thinks he's 8 so we have never played on the sets appropriate for his size and age. There is also a bike trail that we use. I advise that you bring a partner to help you keep track of the little ones. My husband and I often tag team. With so many small children being on the playground you can loose sight quickly. This is a great park any way!

Nice park in the mornings, but too m,any baseball games in the p.m. as the players fill the entire lot leaving no place to park.  One or 2 games at a time is OK but with 4 games going on at once, it excludes most others.
