Very, very fresh, hot and good food!
The prices are very reasonable for the kind of quality and quantity.
There are snacks as well as pastries and other bakery items. You must try the samosa and I have heard the Masala dosa is really good. As for me,I always try the chicken malai saagwala...yummm!!
There are also entrees. The entrees comprise one main dish accompanied with rice pilaf,1 hot naan and a dessert/salad. The naan is always freshly made and the entree is piping hot!! Now that's the way Indian food should be served:-)
The non-veg entrees are about 8 bucks and the veg ones are around 7 bucks.
It does take a while to get your order as they make everything fresh..so its recommended that you call ahead and order so that by the time you reach, your food is ready to eat.
Another big plus is that there are no "timings" for the food,so you can get entrees at any time...they never say that "the kitchen is closed" ...I have experienced that at many buffet places I have been to and even had some of them breathing down my neck so that I finish the meal and leave fast..
Nothing like that at Indus cafe. So enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace and enjoy every morsel.
The place is a bit small..I think it seats about 30, but we always get a seat..so no cribs there.
Believe me, if you want to eat fresh, tasty Indian food try this place!
