I used to go into to the store when they were on 24th street because it was just SO beautiful and full of cool stuff and smelled like where I wanted to be forever.
I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to a friend, and just gave a description over the phone of what I like and what my friends personality was like and when I saw the flowers later, I was blown away with how perfect they were for this person.
Diane is truly amazing and will put so much effort into what you really want... it shows.
I love arrangements with long twiggy weird things sticking out and odd draped flowers and mossy covered sticks and stuff ..
so I like unusual arrangements, and every one that I have EVER ordered has been perfect.
they have (sadly) closed the store on 24th street, but will make and deliver arrangements still, just call Diane.
also, she never laughs at the stupid things I ask her to write on the card, or if I ask her to add dog cookies she does, (and they are good dog cookies).
I just love Indigo V. -

I contacted Diane at Indigo V to help design and put together a special, small, bouquet for my wedding at SF City Hall this past week. Once we had decided we would tie the knot in SF (and traveling from NY) I began looking for a florist. I chose Diane based on proximity to where we were staying and her reviews-I am SO grateful I did! I had a design in mind and after speaking to her on the phone I sent her a photo from a bouquet I saw online-rustic with sunflowers. We emailed a few times and spoke on the phone-Diane is sweet, considerate, enthusiastic and most of all talented! She was very accommodating to the fact that we wouldn't meet until the time of pick up-(which was on the morning of the actual ceremony.) When I arrived at her super cool studio in Noe Valley she presented to me the absolute most perfect arrangement-I couldn't be more in love with my bouquet! There was so much character and detail in the whole design. The Justice of the Peace noted that it was the most sensible and beautiful bouquet he has seen-and he has seen a lot! Diane put the bouquet in a bit of water held in a super cute box wrapped in blue paper with green tissue paper to travel with-the whole presentation was extremely thoughtful and helpful for travel-the flowers made it all the way home on the plane!

Love Indigo V's arrangements. The owner and artist is the nicest lady, and always takes the time to make some suggestions (which are always on the money). Quality is great.
Two stars off because I ordered flowers for someone once and gave Indigo V the wrong address. They never notified me - I found out by accident when I asked the "recipient" how she liked the flowers - which she never received, nor did Indigo V contact me.
Pissed me off, I tell ya. -

Diane is the lady to get a hold of if you need flowers delivered in the city ASAP. I placed an order only 30 minutes ago and just received a text from my friend in Glen Park thanking me for a beautiful arrangement.

I'm not an avid Yelper, but the flowers I received from Indigo V. made me so happy, I felt I owed a little tribute. I received a gorgeous vase of calla lilies for my birthday. (Obviously, much of the credit goes to the actual gift giver.) The flowers were in full bloom on the day I received them, making them a perfect centerpiece for dinner that night. They were also adorned with cute fuzzy green ball-shaped plants/stuff, which I had never seen before. Most importantly, they lasted a REALLY long time. I used them as a centerpiece a 8 days later and they still received compliments. Thank you. When it's my turn to send flowers, I'll definitely consider Indigo V.

Diane is truly a 'find'. My favorite thing about her gorgeous arrangements is that she uses aromatics (think mint!) and sometime colorful greens (think chard!) in her arrangements. Whatever your idea, she will work with you to create the color and ambiance you are seeking. I've used her for a number of small parties as well as for sending bouquets locally in SF and I've always been very happy with her work.

Indigo V - Diane- is an artist. I was referred to her by my mom, who is a wonderful florist in the east bay( East Bay Flower Company - ask for Viki) when I was looking for a florist to do custom flowers for my office. Diane came to the office to evaluate our needs, and I gave her full freedom to do what she wanted (FYI - florists always hook it up right when you give them full freedom) needless to say (judging by my rating) everyone was blown away! The arrangements looked more like installments and were the talk of the office for an extensive period of time. Her prices are reasonable, and her taste is unquestionable. Superior customer service mixed with genuine passion makes this florst the best in SF. A bride would be lucky to book Indigo V.

This is the best and most beautiful business, not only are you taken care of by the lovely Diane, but she just so happens to have some of the most unique arrangements of flora and fauna you could imagine. I have been a customer for over 15 years when she started in the Noe Valley. You are in great hands with this flower girl!!!

Diane is incredible. I have known her from when she had her store on 24th street and she never disappoints. I can call her and just let her know the event and she always nails it every time. Even when I have an out of town call i always hear back how beautiful the flowers are. And her arrangements last the longest of any that I have ever had. She is the best by far anywhere.

If you are looking for something really special for a flower arrangement this is the place to call. The owner has the most gorgeous taste in flowers and beautiful arrangements. I recommend her especially for anyone looking for something fresh, dramatic and great value. While other florists may specialize in the dramatic I sometimes feel they are short on actual flowers. This is not the case for Indigo V. She is generous with flowers in her arrangements using unusual, often old fashioned gorgeous flowers with a unique, upscale flare. I have used her for years and have never been disappointed.

Diane at Indigo V is simply the most creative, artistic florist in town, PERIOD. Diane & Indigo V is the anti-FTD corporate "carnation" florist! I trust Diane to create individualized, unusal (not freaky), tasteful boquets and designs every time. I lived in SF for 20 years, and she did every major party event for me-- wedding, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and has never ceased to amaze me with her creations. I now live near Mendocino, and still call her for floral creations and deliveries in the bay area. Diane and Indigo V will endear you as a lifetime client. Most surprising, is that the prices are really very reasonable.
