Ugh.  Such mixed feelings about Indian Pond...

First, I am a bad golfer, frequent wedding goer, and honest yelper.

So keeping with that, lets get through item A, the Golf. From my stroll around the course (no clubs, no playing), this is a beautifly kept and interesting course. Beautiful.  Thats as far as I can go as I left the pings at home, as wella s the $40k anually i've heard it costs to play here.

Item B. The wedding.
My bestfriend from highschool's wedding was this weekend here. It was a beautiful room, a good location off hte highway, and the facilities were very well kept.   The food was not consistant from table to table. The ravioli appetizer was good, but not great, the entree was a grissley slab of beef, though the potato and vegetible was nicely presented.  If I ahd received the meal at a restaurant, I would ahve returned it though. I'd have needed a jig/sawsall to cut through it.  The service was not willing to provide either (much less a steak knife).  I felt rushed, and the waitstaff was not professional.  I was in the wedding party, and the wedding 'planner/coordinator' was a total bitch.

So despite the comfortable facilities and beautiful course- the bitchy factor keeps me from giveing IP a positive rating. I'm having a tough time giving it a three star. I would not have my wedding here.
