This place had a tasty Indian buffet, reasonable prices, and good service.
Now I know why Alli goes there weekly. :)

I've always had great experiences at this restaurant. It's more cost-efficient to eat the buffet. When my friends are in from Austin we always go here to eat dinner. It tends to get crowded at times, but this does cause the cooks to keep dishes coming and the food's always fresh!
The wait staff is very on top of things clearing dishes from the table and refilling drinks! And I know one time I went here to eat the manager gave me and my friend about 3 or 4 coupons each for $2 off the buffet!
I absolutely LOVE the chicken tikka masala and plain naan... and the Khir for dessert is the best way to go!

Not the greatest Indian food in SA, but definitely cheap. They have a dinner buffet with a dollar off coupon from their Web site, which is awesome. Nothing very spicy in the buffet, but a satisfying smattering of Indian food. Sometimes you really need a samosa.
Went here for dinner the other day with some friends as a study break and was glad we did.
The buffet has a good assortment of various Indian dishes from Saag paneer to Dal to Chicken Tiki Masala. Because the place is so busy, the food turnover is really quick and food seems to always be fresh.

Tried this place out of convenience, it is a good spot for a friend and I to meet for lunch and very close to my home/work. We tend to go a little later at lunch (1ish).
The buffet is reasonably priced, and the servers are super friendly. I arrived before my friend and the man that seated me in the back room asked for a description of my friend so that he could bring her to the table, which I thought was really nice.
The food was great as was the selection, but one complaint: Our first trip to the buffet, there was one large plate left, otherwise only salad ones; one piece of naan left; and maybe a spoonful of rice. I tried to just chalk it up to the fact that we got there at the end of lunch rush. Second trip there were still no big plates. This made me try small portions of different dishes which is probably a good thing for my stomach, but it still annoyed me. Nonetheless, we're definitely gonna go back.
One of THE most frequented and popular Indian restaurants in San Antonio. They serve a lunch and dinner buffet. Interestingly enough the food does not change from lunch to dinner - only that the price goes up by a few dollars. High traffic and turnover of dishes ensures fresh and hot food. One of my regularly frequented restaurants, when I was a medical student and intern here - just down the street from the health science center and a favorite of many medical professionals & practitioners.
