This is good. A great friend of ours who shall only be named henceforth as 'M' brought us here. She is from Roseville. I had no idea people were actually from Roseville, but it is true. We had a great time. Shut the place down, in fact. Don't let the outside or the location bother you. Wait a minute, we are talking about indian food here. Not generally known for their atmosphere. Generally speaking the uglier the place, the better the food. This is no exception.
We got the appetizer platter (yum) and then shared two main dishes. oh, and the naan. yes. it is like pita. not the best I have ever had, but still quite nice.
I also promise to write more reviews that include M.
One of my favorite places to go back home. Beyond excellent. I've only been here for dinner, but I really want to try their lunch buffet.
The service here has always been nothing less than stellar. The waitstaff is always nice and quick. We were once wondering what another table ordered, since it looked good. The waiter brought a menu back to show us and explained what it was. I've never waited to be seated for dinner here.
The food is delicious. Their naan is to die for. I really like their Chicken Mushroom. Anything with their cream and tomato sauce is amazing. They always ask how spicy you would like your food, which is good for those of us who have a low tolerance and people who like stuff hot.
Definitely one of the best kept secrets in the Twin Cities.
This restarant is easy to miss, tucked in between a motel and auto parts store next to the highway, but once located you will not be disappointed. I went last week for lunch and the total for two came to $20, including tip.
I enjoyed the Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Makhani the most. The bread (Naan) reminded me more of pita bread.
Note: this is a very popular place during lunch. We were seated immediately, but the buffet line did back up for a few minutes during one of our (frequent) trips.
I will definitely be back.

Dare I say the greatest Indian Buffet on the planet? I know there are "fancier" places out there, with more "authentic" Indian food, but gosh darn it, this place is the GREATEST... Their Chicken Makhani, Naan, and Chana Masala are the yummiest concoctions I have ever known. This is a buffet that I have eaten at consistently for the past two years, and it has always been good. Stacks of Naan keep pouring out of the kitchen, Chicken Makhani is freshened quickly (as it disappears quickly), and they are always refilling your drink in the blink of an eye... Great stuff... All this for $8.46, what more could you possibly want? Nothin' that's what, except for possibly a wheelbarrow for someone to carry you away after eating 45 lbs of the greatest food ever...
