This joint is my local In-N-Out. It doesn't get better than this when it comes to fast food burgers. It's located in a shopping center along with 2 Starbucks, Lucky, Togos, Jamba Juice. It's right off of Captiol and Tully.
It's just like any other In-N-Out in the South Bay, but this is usually the one with the longest lines (drive-thru). Late at night, you'll have a bunch of street racers sit in the parking lot showing off their car and doing donuts. Therefore they finally hired security.
Service and taste is similar to any other In-N-Out.
It's just a fast food joint. Not much better than McDonald's or Burger King, taste wise. Maybe they use fresher ingredients?
Sometimes my fries are too salty, sometimes they have no taste. Lack of quality consistency here. Also you typically have to wait a bit for your order.
In-N-Out Burgers is one of the better fast food joints. Their burgers, shakes, and fries are pretty delicious, but probably not the best to be eaten on a regular basis if you want to stay in shape. The fries can be a bit too salty sometimes though.
I haven't had In & Out for a very long time because it totally kills my work out diet. I remember going here 2-3 times a week a few summers back. Good memories!
Food is delicious. All my out-of-towners love coming here.
I'm only subtracting 1 star because the drive-thru line here gets super long during dinner hours. It's taken me about 30 minutes to get through the damn thing! So about 45 minutes from the time I leave my house until I get home? Blah!
I'd like the double double, animal style, hold the lettuce, hold the tomatoes, and hold the onions. Easy on the mayo and pickles.
Super size the chocolate milkshake....opps that's at McDonald's.
Tasty burgers paired with friendly and reliable service. My only complaint is the overwhelming police presence at night. There is something intimidating about trying to enjoy a #1 when there are 2-4 cop cars in the parking lot harassing teenagers and motor cycle riders.
Normally I'm a big fan of In-N-Out.
But this location is the first to let me down. Usually their restaurants are Spic-N-Span, but this one wasn't. The tables were dirty and there was litter on the floor -- and nobody came out to clean the restaurant for the 20 minutes that I was there. Kind of unusual given In-N-Out's normal routine, especially since it wasn't that busy.
You're probably also going to run into a few shady characters in the parking lot. Maybe that's good; maybe that's bad, but something you may want to be aware of if you're not a local.

It truly amazes me how every single one of these places look exactly the same.
But i love this place. I swear to god they jump oxygen in that place to make their workers so happy and peppy. I've never seen people so happy to serve you meat on a bun while wearing a dorky hat. And i know its required of them to ask you, "how are you doing" in the drive thru but i think its nice. Lol I like to say "Good thank you, how are you ^_^"
My meal (i dont eat it all at once but this is how i like my items):
Cheeseburger extra toast animal style no pickles
Fries well done animal style
Pink lemonade yes.
They need some froyo up in this heezy.
Only sucky thing though is how long the drive thru line can get. But it's nice that they have this person standing outside to take your order to speed things up.
The food is ok, but let to tell everyone, the secret sauce is thousand island. I tried the animal stiled frys, which where hella nasty and i wish they would get some chicken on their menu. But this is a good place to meet friend and be social
This used to be the joint, or at least the parking lot used to be the #1 loitering spot for us kids aged 16 to 20 in ESSJ when this plaza first came up, until the cops caught on.
Party got cracked. You'd end up here.
You feel like going to the runs. You'd end up here.
Minus 1 star because when I tried to order a 5x5 animal style a few months ago, the lady told me they can't serve anything bigger than a 4x4. Don't know if she was just tripping, or if that goes just for this location. But my friends have eaten 15x15s before.
If anyone knows the truth behind this, please message me and let me know. And if anyone wants to battle me on eating anything between a 10x10 and a 15x15 let me know.
I did a 5x5 animal style in 2 minutes and 15 seconds before. Tore my homie apart, even though he had a good 30 lbs on me.
Favorite and most healthy/clean looking fast food joint in my book.

I heart In N Out Burger!
They make it anyway you want it. The menu is as simple as 1,2, and 3. I always like to change it up, so sometimes I'd get the protein animal style double double burger. It gets really messy but its really tasty. Or I'll just get the number 2 animal style. Their buns...its so soft and spongy. You can also order their fries well done so that its not soggy. The animal fries are yummy, if you like spicy food have them add the green banana peppers. They also add it in your burger if you want. The employees are always really up beat and friendly and there is one eye candy that I always look forward to seeing when I go here haha O yeah can't forget about the milkshakes hmmm strawberry!

This is the best. place. ever!!! The service is great and the people are friendly, but the food will bring you back again and again and again. And again. Get the fries animal style!!! And don't eat it while you drive. Your lap will be a mess in no time!
I love In & Out!!!! I've never found such a great reason to purposely induce heartburn upon myself, until them!!
I love the animal style fries.. everything!
My only problem with this location, is, just like most In & Outs, it acts as a haven for all the racers &/or racer wannabes in the Evergreen Area. I came to enjoy my burger, not to listen to which of you can rev the loudest. Geebus.
And, in regards to this location, they're so busy, that they don't seem to have time to clean. Their tables are always filthy, and the garbage is always full way past the rim.. Eh. But everything else is just hunky dory!
My local In N Out Burger and when I don't feel like eating at The Counter, my other favorite burger joint, I head to In N Out. Just like The Counter, In N Out toast their buns, toasty! In addition, their meat, toppings, and of course, the grilled onions, make this burger a winner in my book. I first had my In N Out burger years ago in Southern California when there was none up here whatsoever. But now with so many in the Bay Area, I love how I can get double the meat, fries well done, animal style, or whatever else secret menu items they have any day, and well past 11pm. However, the drive thru line here bites with an average wait of 15-25 minutes. I have never waited 10 minutes or less, I wish...but that just tells you how fresh their fries and burgers are and is definitely worth the wait.

Some of the best burgers I've ever had. And theres not too many.
If you know how to order, and I mean if you know how to order right, you should not be unhappy with your order.
I don't like their shakes much however.
Oh, and do ask for those free stickers!
Free refills as expected too!
This fastfood chain pushes the boundaries of good burgerZ!
I've had a 5x5 - was amazing.
FAST FOOD HAS RUINED THIS COUNTRY!!!! Now with that said, this place rocks!!!! I know I know, I'm odd we all know that by now. First never frozen beef for a fast food joint or fresh fries not created by monsato corp... These are big plus's not to mention being from the east coast never have a witnessed the amount of people waiting for fast food! I am not sure if you could create a building to fit all the customers they have...hmm maybe open them in costco buildings... that may be enough seating!

Best place to get a quick burger, also the cheapest. It is possible you can find a burger for cheaper, but you're not going to get any better than In N Out.
Sigh. I gave up cheeseburgers for Lent. I passed by this place a few days ago and almost went to the drive thru. Damn. One month to go.
When my husband's brother came in town from Washington he wanted In-N-Out and this was the closest one.
So we hopped in the car and drove about 15 minutes down the 101.
It's in a larger shopping center and has plenty of parking and a really long drive though - which had soooooo many cars waiting.
The inside is the typical simple white and red theme. It was super clean, busy and neat.
The cashier was soooooo nice, this older white woman. She was so pleasant, nice and fun. It was hard not to want to tip her.
The food is tasty though the burgers super small. But it being fast food I concede because really I shouldn't be having more. The ingredients are fresh, love the onions, the special sauce is yummy! The fries are natural and I love it that way!
But . . . . . . the area is a bit scary and the people ghetto - I did not feel comfortable walking, eating and chatting here - I was totally unrelaxed. I totally hate to say this and for some reason it could have been 'just' the night - but there were some real gangster looking guys here and I felt like running.
Oh and I truely do hate that they put Godly verses on the bottom of these stuff, but it's my choice - I keep going back - just not to this location.
I love their burgers here, how the buns are nice and toasted, tons of lettuce, and melty cheese. And I actually LIKE the fresh fries... I admit, it took some getting used to after all those frozen fries we're used to at Mcdonalds and Burger King... but it grew on me. The special sauce is good too. I miss those little containers they used to come in, cuz now they come in plastic ketchup packets. It was so much easier dunking my fries into those little plastic cups, but ah well. Yeah and the workers are always so happy and cheery. Nice change from those other drive thru workers who give off that "i-hate-my-life-vibe"...

This is the ONE fast food place that actually gets my order right. I love it! I dont even mind waiting the average 15 minutes for my food. They don't skimp on the onions and cheese on my onion cheese fries and they never screw up the only ketchup on my double double.. Their buns are always grilled to perfection! MmMmm I think I may just go there now!
By far, the best in & out I have ever gone to! Perfectly grilled burgers with perfectly melted cheese. The buns are the way they are supposed to be: warm and toasty. I walked right in at 12:30 and left about 5 minutes later with my food :)
Only one thing: too much raw onion, but next time I'll ask for less and I'm sure it will be perfect!
True story:
I have had In-N-Out Fed Exed to me. Uh huh. Shipped it. HA. It still tasted amazing. My brother's gf in Cali is a love. We got the craving, and she delivered, literally.
On my one and only trip to California this past Jan...you guessed it - it would not be complete without a stop here. Animal style all the way baby!
I know, I am an inconsistent vegetarian. BUT it's In-N-Out, I HAD to eat it!!

- Hi! How are you? May I take your order?
me: Hi! may I get a #2, extra tomato, no onion and with a 7up.
- Will you be eating this in your car?
me: No. I'll have it in the bag. Thanks!
- Your order comes out to be $xx.xx. Please help pull to the next window.
This place is something I can't resist. I must have in n out once a month and I go to the gym so i'm able to eat their fatty food. (they should design a shirt that says that)
I know. I need professional therapy.
People seriously need to get over this place. I've had better burgers and they need to add some other food choice besides burgers.
Cool to go with your buddies I guess.
3.5 Stars
In-N-Out was a convenient stop last weekend, and why not write a review about a really good drive thru burger joint.
My son and I drove thru on Saturday (Sept. 15th) and grabbed double-double meals. The burgers are way above-average. The taste of the meat is spectacular. But for me, the burger is about it for me at In-N-Out.
I just don't care for the fries. I know they're real potatoes and made fresh right there on site - we've all seen the kid pressing raw, peeled potatoes into fries. Maybe it's the type of oil they use to fry them, or maybe I just need something artificial in my fries.
Now what really makes up for the fact that I see In-N-Out as a menu of essentially one item is the service. There is such an appreciation of those employees that go out with the remote register to the drive thru when it's packed and take orders face-to-face. They're always in good spirits, and I know I'm going to end up getting what I ordered.
Final Quick Note: I know the place is called In-N-Out to imply to customers that you should take this meal TO GO, but would it kill them to put a few more places to sit in these places? Trying to sit down in these places during lunch hour is a chore.
I am an IN-N-OUT junkie. I always visit here whenever I'm in town visiting my bf. He says I come into town for the burger and fries....and sometimes...he just might be right.
My addiction is for the Cheeseburger ANIMAL STYLE and fries with 2 packets of sauce *which is probably thousand lsland* OR animal style fries.... yuuuuum.
animal style means grilled onions on top of your meat or fries....it's fantastic!
I know there's one in Sac, but for the drive down to San Jo, it's a treat to stop by and grab a fresh burger. No McD burger will ever come close now that I've had IN-N-OUT.
And it helps that the people I come across are always nice and speedy....plus, the guy that takes orders outside from the drive through is super hot!

Incredible burgers. In N Out warrants a visit to California for their burgers alone. They offer free refills, small yellow peppers, and are open late.
Only downside to this location is that later in the evening on the weekends, local high school aged kids loiter in the parking lot blaring music and clog up the parking lot, glare at you for daring to patronize the businesses in THEIR parking lot and some filter in to the restaurant at night; never had a problem with any of them, it's just obnoxious.

I've been eating In-N-Out before they expanded out of Southern California and I have never EVER been disappointed until I got to this location.
This is my review for the last two times I visited In-N-Out.
The first time I got there, cashier was an older white lady. Great service.
Placed my order. Waited for my order, when it came the order was wrong. Giving me the wrong order is fine. Shit happens but it's the way they took care of it or lack of was what pissed me off.
I asked for a cheeseburger with extra onions and lettuce.
When I walked up to the counter it took 10 seconds for someone to come and help me. When I was asked what was wrong by the fry cutter, it just took the burger and stood in front of the cooks not knowing what to do. To make a long story short, the burger floated around to 4 different people because no one wanted to take blame for the wrong order. For god's sake who cares who fudged it up just fix it.
I stood there for a total of 10 minutes to get my correct burger. Btw when I finally got the correct order I found out the person who ordered before me got my burger. He was screaming " I said I don't want onions" lol.
Just this Saturday 10/8 I was there again. I figured I'd go to the drive thru for faster service. Got to the window and the drive thru cashier didn't understand my order correctly. I would tell him want I wanted and before he even let me finish he would guess what I wanted.
So after 2 minutes of trying to order with him, he said he's sending someone out to help me with my order.
One minute later this girl came out to take my order. Same thing, these kids just don't listen. I guess they like to predict your order here. ha.
Tried to place the order but the ordering clip board thingy was broken. So I had to drive up to the first window to place my order for the third time.
After that all was done, they did apologize for the delay but what killed everything was they messed my order up again.
Word of the wise don't give them any special orders here, they can't handle it. Although I live just around the corner I will be driving all the way to Blossom Hill next time. I tried twice..
If anyone here is happy with the service this IN-N-OUT offers, trust me it's much better than this at other locations. this is not the norm

Love the burger and the fries. This is where my hubby and I usually get our 4th meal. the only thing that bothers me... especially in this location,.. the guy who prepares your burger will also be the cashier and dont even bother to wipe his hands or wear gloves !!! disgusting. This guy usually there around closing time sometime weekends. That's why we either go to milpitas

IN n OUT IS ONE OF THE BEST FAST FOOD JOINTS EVER! Yummy! I love their buns, I love how they give you lots of lettuce because.... I love lettuce. Yum yum yum yum. I don't like their fries though, I prefer McD or BK fries over these but whatever. Dip them in their thousand island/house sauce and they're all good again.
Oh, and IN n OUT is DEFINITELY BETTER THAN CARL'S JR, even though they have more stuff in their burgers and their fries are better than InNOut, at least it's healthier than Carl's Jr :0)
Went through the drive through around 12AM, the line is PACKED!! I know they are super busy, but if they close the inside, keep a few more workers and boom bam biggalo you're problem is cured!! Don't send home workers even though you close the dining room because you're drive through will still be as busy.
Food is consistently good here, but so is the wait. The drive-thru is pretty much going to be a minimum 15 minute ordeal.
I am not just writing about this In-N-Out location, but for all locations. I absolutely HATE the food at this place. Time after time, I see lines of cars wrapped around the building at lunch time.. but for what? Cardboard fries and a Bland-Burger? I don't get it. Try Carl's Jr... who actually has flavor to their burgers.. and tell me what is better. I don't care if Carl's is more expensive.. at least I can taste something!!
Their food here is consistently good. They have never screwed up my order. They are friendly, professional and the restaurant is spotless...there are always TP and paper towel (that are not gross and soggy) in the bathrooms. They always ask if I want ketchup and actually give it to me... drive thru is always speedy and never stressful even during rush hour. Who knew fast food could be painless, efficient and easy?? what a concept.
How the heck are they always so CHEERY?!! Please tell me the secret, because they are ALWAYS smiling and sound cheery when I go here! If I had a choice between McDonalds or In n Out you bet In n Out would win by a lonnnnnngggggg shot! My favorite thing here is the animal style fries with extra EVERYTHING. I usually end up eating them on the way home, which is why I make my boyfriend drive when we go to the drive thru. The smell of those fries are irresistible...and besides, if you dont eat them soon enough then end up clumped together, cold, and very unappetizing. I am also a big fan of their cheeseburgers because you can just taste the freshness of their meat and their unwilted lettuce. Yes, I am an In n Out burger junkie. I would go here more often if the drive-thru lines werent so long...I'm the kind of person that likes to eat my fast food in the privacy of my own home. Dont know why....just do....it's not like their restaurant isn't clean though. It is always clean...and always busy. But man, ANIMAL STYLE FRIES ROCK!

Okay, there is nothing in the world like an In-N-Out Burger and Fries! Aaahh! Just what my scale loves to hear! Hahaha!
In-N-Out consistently delivers fresh, tasty food each and every time! All their ingredients are fresh, crisp and delicious! No soggy tomatoes or droopy lettuce here! Delicious HOT fries each and every time! Hello!? That is how you do it "RIGHT"!
Why minus one star? The kind of people that hang out here! Ugh! If you are going here late at night, make sure you have a can of mace with you! Lots of teenage thugs here after 11:00 pm (which is one of the better times to eat at In-N-Out...)
This location is in a grocery shopping center and there is also a Starbucks in the same lot. They are always crowded and there are usually several cop cars here as well. The cops only provide a small measure of comfort--because of the type of clientele you will be dining with here at night.
During the day? No worries! Just us fatties and several other people who have to get their "fix".
i was a vegetarian for 10 years.
i swore the first meat i would eat (if i ever ate meat again) would be an in-n-out buger.
it was.
damn it was good.
(plus, if you read 'fast food nation', you will find this is actually an ok fast food joint. :) they pay their employees well. no freezers. and the fries are fresh cut!)

If we want to eat a hamburger in Taiwan, the only choice is McDonald's. However, you have more choices in the U.S. In-N-Out is a good place to eat fast food. My first timewent to there was that My friend took me to there three months ago. There were many
people in the resturant. I think the biggest different is French Fries. It was cooked after we order it so it was very fresh. My friend told me In-N-Out has secret menus such as Animal Style Fries. It contains fries, cheese, spread, and grilled onions. So if you want to eat fast food, I suggest In-N-Out.
Their burgers are the best, and we tend to eat almost all of the fries on the drive home. There is an optional "animal style fries" that is not on the menu and you can order, it's like chili cheese fries and really messy to eat.

Yeaaaaa one of my gulity pleasures!
This is the best fast food burger joint out there! I love thier secret menu stuff and how they give out free stickers and freindly service.
Food is cheap. My favorite is animal style cheeseburger and fries MMMM.
Delicous fast food that takes a lil long sometimes.
Sometimes I have to restrain myself from going here sometimes because it does get unhealthy.
I wish thier burgers were bigger though mmmmms!
