Three days ago, I returned to Light of Touch a week after my facial(previous review), for a bit of waxing.
Darcy was awesome. I have fairly sensitive skin. In the past, I've experience a 50/50 chance of combined horrid breakouts, puffy-ness, or always joyful, the chance of a week long bout of inflammation. None of these occurred, in any combination(post wax).
After the hour and a half appointment,(strange because its never taken longer than 15min before) my skin was perfect. I experienced very very slight redness the next day, and my skin has been without a blemish ever since.
I mentioned my previous issues to Darcy, she took her time and was very thorough. My skin has reaped the rewards of her labor. When I mentioned the length of the visit to her, she laughingly informed me that she DID NOT perform high speed waxing.
I've been waxed by hairdressers. I've been waxed by estheticians. I've taken their advice, and had a mini facial first. I've ignored that advice too. Salon or day spa, my results have NEVER been this good.
Very much worth the lengthy visit, and I'll be back.1 Previous Review: Show all »

As promised, I did go back for the facial with Karin. I can comfortably say this was the best facial I have ever had. It was two hours long (can't complain about that) and the price was only $50. Yeah, that's what I though - it might have been a first-timers special.
She did to a micro-dermabrasion and exfoliation treatment for me, along with hydrating, extractions and massage...
I'm sure I fell asleep a couple times, but not sure.. cuz I was asleep.

I've had zillions of massages and am quite picky about my massage experience. I decided to try In Light of Touch and had an amazing massage with Alex. His technique and amount of pressure was perfect; his extensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system was obvious. It was very therapeutic, but not too rigorous. I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks - truly better than after any massage in recent memory. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've never received a facial but someone gave me one as a gift. I have a feeling they are not usually this good. Karin devoted so much time and care to the facial. I left feeling great. I must go back to get a massage.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Alex' massage is amazing. I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The place is very clean and calming. Everyone is very professional and the prices are well beyond reasonable. If you check online, they have monthly specials which give you an even better deal. I'd definitely recommend it.

Established in 2008
We started in Spring 2008 with two people and one room, offering massage and facials. After a year, one room was not enough anymore. Now we have a nice compact day spa with three rooms, a front desk and 8 people working with us.
