203 S King RdEast side's best kept quesadilla secret! They recently changed their name to Imperio Liquors & Taqueria considering it was more suitable than "Groceries." If you come here, then you'll see. It's a small ass liquor store with a small taqueria in the corner. God knows how they came up with that idea....BUT it's one the best places to get your quesadilla grub on.
Just order carne with harina tortilla (flour). You'll get a big ass quesadilla on a Styrofoam plate with grease seeping through. Don't be alarmed! That grease is something heavenly and it doesn't even taste/make you feel lardy! Go try it! They say some of the best food is from hole in the wall places...this place is literally a hole in the wall...well...taqueria.
OH! And don't forget to wash it down with some Squirt! This place is loaded with just as much Squirt as liquor. Yeah.

God damn my brothers stupid piece of crap computer. I just wrote a six paragraph review of this place and it went haywire and erased it.
Screw it, I'll make it simple. This place is safe unless you're alone late at night (although they have on-site security). It's INSIDE a liquor store.
All the meats I've tried are awesome: cabeza, lengua, carne asada, al pastor, carnitas. My favorite is the cabeza, although it is crazy fatty (translation: DELICIOUS).
Always ask for some extra salsa/chile. It is homemade and it is BOMB. Me puede mas salsa, por favor.
Their tacos are straight up Tijuana style and burritos are nice and fat, but very plain (meat with beans, onions/cilantro and chile, straight up-- no rice, cheese or other horseshit offered). My favorite, though, are the quesadillas. I always order an Harina (flour) quesadilla de cabeza con todo (everything - pretty much same stuff as goes in the burrito except beans). The cheese gets all gooey and leaks out the sides. Squeeze some lime on each bite and pour a little extra chile on there - oh chit, that's a heart attack I'm just gonna have to accept.

Come here for their taquieria style soft tacos. The best, most authentic tasting carne asada soft tacos in SJ.
go here. dont be scared.
its a liquor store that sells food on the side too. very tasty and cheap mexican style tacos. try the asada. I usually stick to this and the burritos and quesadillas are very good as well. order up, grab a pineapple soda and eat on the side of the building or eat inside ure car..
just dont forget to lock the doors!
this place stays open until 1 or 2 am, after a little late nite action this is the place!
