This is THE place to buy a suit. You tell them what you want and how much you're looking to pay, and they'll match you up. Alterations are professionally done on site. I bought a black Italian suit, alterations, a Calvin Klein shirt, and two ties and was out the door for a very fair price. The accessories aren't quite as value-priced as the suits... the prices on the suits are what get you in the store, and I'm guessing they make back some money on belts, ties, cuff links, etc. A good selection of shoes, some mainstream, some "interesting" at very good prices, though sizes are occasionally limited.
For the record, those talking about wild colored blazers and bands buying clothes here, another great story is that veteran channel 7 sportscaster Tim Weigel (RIP) used to shop here for all his colorful blazers that he wore on the air.

Great suits at great prices, minus the dressed-up decor you find in the fancy men's clothing stores. When you come in, you just see rows and rows of suits everywhere. The floor is plain concrete. Tailoring and alterations are done in back. I bought my first 2 suits here in 1997 when I was graduating college. I have since gotten another one when my 1st son was baptized. I may come back and buy a tux to avoid renting in the future. I would not buy a suit anywhere else. They have a tailor on-site who does all the measurements and you pick up the suit the following week. They also have a great variety of shirts, ties, shoes and other formalwear accessories at a fraction of dept. store prices. The salespeople are older, retirement age guys mostly, but they are always helpful and never pushy for one suit or another.

I think I heard that some singing groups buy their matching suits from here. The Four Tops, the Temptations, the O'Jays etc.. Think purple or red matching suits. How about fancy matching tuxes. They sell all of the above. They were featured on Ch. 11 once for these reasons. They also sell your standard men's suit or tradtional tuxes at outlet prices.
