do you like old-timey things? cuz this place is oozing with old-timey charm. it's so old-timey in fact that the bathroom sink has separate hot and cold faucets keeping you from ever touching warm water. you can either burn or freeze. these are your options. more old-timey yet, the shower head is level with your nipples. people were shorter in the old times.
hell, it was $60 for a room with a private bath and $40 without. you can't complain about old-timey prices. sure our old brass bed had a divot in the middle, but the ceilings were 11 feet high (i'm not sure why they needed such high ceiling for such short people), the woodwork was original and the place was overflowing with leaded glass, transoms and amazing light fixtures. for a cheap and charming spot in the middle of town, it seemed like a winner.
