Finally a place near by where I can take these tired feet and get a much deserved pedicure. It's clean, spacious and the gals do a great job. Pedicures are average, haven't gotten a mani yet but will try that another day.
They have "happy hour" type specials and comfy spa chairs. I will be back!
Love the eyebrow waxing! The pedicure was good, relieved my ingrown tonail and what matters most to me..... this was a very sterile and clean place.
This place is hit or miss. For the area and the price its pretty good. I have never had a problem here. The polish lasts, the ladies are nice, and they are very good waxing.
My mom hates the place- she swears it gave her a fungus under one of her nails. So, now I am a little weary about the place after reading other reviews of fungus.
I will probably only go to get waxing services.
I work really close to here and decided to try the place out and i wish I never went there!
First off it seems like everyone loves this place, for the cleanliness, but they used a USED nail filer on me and I cringed through my whole service.
Second, I went in for a Mani and pedi and told them I didn't need a massage because I was a tad pressed for time....( I had to catch a flight in 2 hours)
Ladies when they are speaking a different language, it may be about you. I lived in different foreign countries and have picked up many different languages and I understood loud and clear eveything they were saying about me, the technician kept saying that I was rushing her and was working so fast that I thought she was going to cut off one of my toes. I wasn't rushng no one, I just didn't have time for the massage part,so told her to skip and she took it all offensively. I thought I was helping her out because it was less work for the same amount of money...
The polish work was so bad, I had to go get it repainted else where. For that said I would never come back here!! When I left and they got the money, they didn't even say bye or thanks.... Never again!!
The place is clean which is a very important to me. I've been here a couple of times for a pedicure. They do a good job and my polish lasts for weeks. A lot of people also come here for waxing.
However, I unfortunately had a bad experience recently. About two months ago I booked an appointment with the receptionist and specifically asked if they could take three different people for a service at 4:00 p.m. She said yes. Two of us were taken within 5 minutes of our arrival. The third had to wait. 15 minutes passed and I asked when my cousin would be taken. They said sorry, they were running late and it would just be a couple more minutes. There was a free nail tech though just sitting in a chair. It was already 4:30 and by that time two older ladies arrived.
The receptionist ( young lady, high school age) immediately asks how they were, offers them water and tea, and sets up their pedicure station. The same person barely took time to greet us when we walked in (she was chatting away on the phone) and didn't offer us any water or tea. Then the nail tech that was waiting started to service them!
I was very upset but didn't want to cause a scene. Sitting there, those new customers say in passing that their appointment was at 4:30. If the salon was running late, which I understand can happen, then shouldn't a customer who was scheduled to come at 4:00 be taken before a customer scheduled at 4:30? But obviously, since the customers seemed to be regular patrons judging from the conversations they had, they were serviced first. My cousin was not taken til about 4:45.
When I was paying I asked why they were taken first and she just smiled and never really answered my question only stating the salon was running late.
I was really disappointed because I liked coming here, but I don't think we were treated fairly at all. I'm a very pleasant easy going person, but it's not ok to take regular customers over newer customers who had earlier apointment times.
I will NOT get my eyebrows done ANYWHERE else! Ask for Linda for waxing, ask for ken for nails. This place is a dream come true!!!!!
I've been here twice, once for a facial and once for a mani/pedi. I got the standard plain vanilla facial which was was nice and relaxing until the extractions. Having been a long distance runner and still a runner today, I can withstand all kinds of pain, but the comedone extractions were so painful, my eyes were tearing up.
My mani/pedi was very good too. Steady hands clipped my nails to the exact perfect length. I had several cuts on my hands and even without saying anything, she instinctively knew where they were and avoided hurting them.
The parking lot is huge and you will never have trouble parking here.

Who ever said, "third times the charm" was right on the dime!! After having two other people work on my nails, I finally was blessed with Vincent! He is a NAIL GOD! an Artist...a perfectionist..
He has prepped, primed,filed, and filled my nails on the way to my heart! This is the beginning of a great nail relationship... my nails are totally exclusive to have only him work on them. I finally found the ONE!!!

Please note this review is only for Linda, the waxing specialist.
I have not received other services at Image Perfection.
I am almost reluctant to share this because she gets booked very quickly.Linda provides a meticulous eyebrow shaping for the unheard of rate of only $10. I would gladly pay twice as much for the quality of work that is done. Your eyebrows will be carefully waxed, tweezed and trimmed, yet maintain much of their natural shape. Also a bonus: there is plenty of parking available.
This is the best place and only place where I trust the employees 100% with my eyebrows and nails. Every time I come here to get my eyebrows waxed, they make it to the way you like it. Very clean and shaped out ($10). Linda does a really good job with my eyebrow. She's amazing. And all the employees here are very friendly and they take real good care of you. They make sure your nails and etc. are perfect not like some other places that do a half-pass job and rush you off and expect a good tip and all. Love this place!
I went here to get acrylic nails and Michelle did a really good job!! (She's the best) They are all shaped the same and are well done. I love them!! My boyfriend loved them too! The best nails I've had done!
I paid $30 for a full set.
Everyone was really nice and even offered me tea as I waited for my friend to finish getting hers done.
I'd defiantly go back!!
Image Perfection is a great place. After living in San Bruno for a couple of months I was in dire need of a pedicure, so I tired them, Linda was great. Not only that ,I ended getting gels later on and I would only book with Linda (I have this thing of whoever did my nails the first time around is the person I want for my fill appts. ) she was the BOMB. Linda was so accomodating too, she gets booked up quickly and she always made time for me. I since moved across the Bay and I have yet to find a great place to have a pedicure and I am very particular about nail salons. So every time I visit my sister I make an appt to get a pedicure. It is a busy place but they take their time, the girls are friendly, the place is clean and they sterilize their tools. I had a guy do my pedicure and he was pretty good. I had to forego the gels since I moved back to Hayward, but I still go there for the pedicures. Way to go ladies.
