I always get chicken and steak in my burrito.  The corn salsa is delectable.  Perfect stop after the bar or on your way to a campus event.

I agree, the chicken pesto burrito, and everything else on the menu will make you ink your pants. Seriously, the past couple times we've gone to the Pearl Street location people have been sick afterwards.

One star for food that tasted good while we were there. You can add a second if you're concerned about your weight and don't actually want to absorb any calories from your food before it's flushed.

Wow, such horse shit from these other reviewers, this is one place that got me through many a drunk evenings when I was in college back in the late 90's, I am sure i can attribute less severe hangovers due to going to bed with a burrito in my belly.

This is the original, Chipotle eat your heart out, just like Potbelly's copied Snarf's formula you too have gone on to produce something that cannot be replicated.  How great was it when they used to blast NWA and GNR at obscene levels.  The chicken always has the right amount of char on it, the green salsa is the best and they mix the contents of your burrito without you having to ask.

P.S. Jessi B  Overpriced?  It's like less than 5 bucks, next time we go I'm buyin'

One word.  Orgasmic.  I know Mexican, I've lived in Mexico, I've done them, I've lived near the border, you name it I've tried it.  Illegal Pete's is like Mexican/American fusion.  Highly recommended from some good friends back home that graduated from CU back in the day and I'm so glad they did.  The Chicken Pesto Burrito will make you ink in your pants.

grilled chicken burrito with black beans and green salsa.  I wish they delivered to California.  This is the place I miss most by far in Boulder and Denver.  When I go back for a visit, I eat Illegal Pete's for three meals a day.  It's worth it...Phenomenal.
