Fantastic Food at a take out price.

We've eaten at Ike's a bunch and I have never heard the cook say anything in the four years I've lived here.  We've even said hello and he just grinned and nodded.  To hear him speak would have shocked me, to hear him rant would have probably made me laugh, as he and his wife are VERY Korean.  Nothing wrong with that, but his wife is very sweet and loves to talk and has a THIIICK Korean accent as if she just moved here.  

All that said I hope they worked it out, because that would have not been cool to watch for the uninitiated.

The food here is fantastic, and I hope the first review scares everyone off, because they are usually always busy anyway, as they are the only "American Diner" (Korean Owned) in town.

My absolute favorite is the tempura fried Mushrooms.  They are always done fresh and have a fantastic flavor to them Breakfasts are excellent, Burgers are Awesome, Turkey club on sourdough is absofreakinglutely fantastic.

I promise you won't regret it.  Enjoy and remember everyone is stressed and shouldn't have to suffer when they pop a cork.  I'm sure everything was made right with the staff.  

I read the first review and the woman was right.  It's a diner!   There is no china place settings and the plastic drinking glasses are not brand new (but they aren't paper).  The diner does not have a new art deco theme to it.  It's a freaking diner in Granite Falls.  They will serve you wonderful fresh food on clean plates and clean glasses while not generating a bunch of paper trash.

If possible 0 stars. When we were there a waitress didn't charge a customer $1.60 extra for his salad with meal, the owner berated her in front of the whole place demanding she pay it out of her pocket, she was trying to remain professional he was yelling "pay me my money - this comes out of your pocket not mine" she got her stuff and left the store, walked away and we hoped never came back. The owner then stood at the cash register and was tallying all the tickets. His wife in a submissive manner brought everyone slices of watermelon to say sorry, without saying anything verbally. The glasses are plastic mismatched and chipped along with the other dishes nothing matches, if the food is good one can over look "dive" issues, but,  NOT POOR TREATMENT, we never went back and have told everyone we know. Terrible employee treatment = poor customer service AND no repeat business. Who cares about the food when it is that uncomfortable. The truth is they have really great onion rings and  burgers, so we were bummed. Poor employee treatment = No customer buisness (IMHO)
