Why doesn't every city have a gallery like this? As popular as motorsport art and memorabilia have become this place is a cultural oasis for us gear-heads.
Lots of good stuff and a few not so good (or not my cup of tea), but that's the inventory of all art galleries. But I guarantee if you are a motor-head there's something you'll have to have at the Ignition Gallery.
I've been there 3 times in the last 2 years and there is new stuff with each visit.
As far as I know (because I've looked) there's NOT a gallery like this in Seattle, San Francisco or even Los Angeles. Maybe that's why Ignition is busy.
If you like superb, realistic technique and scenes with automotive, motorcycle, or airplane subjects, you should definitely visit this place. The art works on display are uniformly excellent. Most are high quality gliclee prints and are quite reasonably priced.
I never realized before how well current graphic artists have mastered the art of representing reflections in glossy, painted surfaces -- surrounding scenes distorted and reflected in the fender of a Corvette, for example. If you like classic or custom cars, cycles, or airplanes, you will love this gallery.
