I came in here the other day to get a garment tailored.  I'd never gotten anything fixed up before and I told them that.  The shirt turned out to be a little too big and they just told me straight out that I should just find something smaller first rather than taking advantage of my newbie-ness.

I had a suit dry-cleaned there once.  They had it cleaned and ready as promised.

5 stars for friendly and honest service.

Prompt and competent dry cleaner. Ideal Cleaners came recommended by my wedding gown seamstress, Louise Austrie.

I dropped off my [admittedly simple, unadorned] silk wedding dress on a Monday afternoon for a $45 steam press and was able to pick it up on Friday, the day before my wedding. As a plus, my parents were able to pick it up for me while I was at work that day, even without the original order slip (I had it with me in my purse)! I just had to phone in and make a special request, which they agreed to without any trouble. Dress looked nicely pressed and there were no snags.

admittedly, my wedding gown is simple.  no beads, no lace.  but, i did get it at a sample sale, and therefore, was fairly well-worn.  in other words, it needed a thorough cleaning before the wedding.

so, i went to the international fabricare institute's website to find a nearby cleaner, and ideal came up.  they were nearby, and turnaround was fast (i brought it in on tuesday, and i could pick it up on friday.)

when i picked it up, i, naturally, looked it over, and i think it looked even better than new!  and the damage?  a mere $45!

i'm going to start bringing all my clothes here!

despite that it is a little more expensive and closes early enough to have us running from work, my fiancee and i still patronized this place.  however, tonight after picking up my fiancee's shirts and sweaters, we noticed that the cleaners had used a sharpie to mark the name of the account (my name) on his new laundered shirts.  not the tags, on the shirts proper.  it is unacceptable to write on somebody's new clothes, just so they can keep track of them.  earn your money and wash it by hand instead of defacing personal property.  never again...

What can I say...these friendly folk will do your laundry and dry cleaning on-premises and have them ready when they promise.  What more can you ask from a neighborhood cleaner?

Brought my wedding dress here after reading yelp reviews.  I have mixed feelings about this place.  Disclaimer: the total was $45 and I have no idea how this compares with other establishments...I may have gotten what I paid for.
When I went to pick up my dress the gentleman didnt know whether he cleaned it for before wedding or after (preservation).  Well, this scared me.  He rang me up and I asked to look at the dress before he gave it to me.  He didnt offer this.  I looked at the dress and saw that there was a little subtle but noticeable dirt mark on the front of the dress- was not there before.  I asked him about it and he nodded like he was dismissing my comment and then told me to come back in 2 hours.  Slightly annoyed I smiled and left.  I came back and the spot was removed.  He even offered to walk the dress to my car.  Not sure if this is something he normally did.
When I tried the dress on at home I noticed the the lining was clearly not pressed (or pressed well) because it was not laying flat.  Many parts of the dress were also not pressed well.  I had to take my dress back to my alteration's person (Anne V.) to do some last minute fixes and had to rely on her to press the rest for me (one week before the wedding at this point).  Conclusion: have nothing to compare it to but mixed feelings.
