This guy is da bomb!
I have had several people through the years come over and clean my carpet. Not one of them matched the service and professionalism of Jerry.
Now I know my carpets were dirty and should be replaced. With the economic downturn I cannot afford to do this.
Jerry wasn't sure how clean he could get them...but they came out great!
Not only did he give me a fair price, he cleaned my carpets wonderfully. They are not only clean, but all odors and spots are gone as well.
I gotta tell you, if you are in the LA County Area, and need your carpets done, call this guy up. You will NOT be dissapointed.
His service was so superior and amazing, I am recommending him to everyone I know (and thats a boatload of people as I am an LA Native).
I do NOT know where these idiots who give him a 1 star rating come from. (maybe from competetors???)
Give him a call and have your carpet cleaned right!
I had my annual sofa cleaning today, and I called Jerry.
Again, he did a great job. I didn't want the super-special stain cleaning since I am getting rid of the sofa, I just wanted a simple cleaning. Jerry gave me the "yelp price" (ask for it) and did a great job, just like last time.
He's prompt, efficient, a hard worker and very nice to talk to. What more can you ask for?? Oh, and ask to see a picture of his baby -- he's so cute.

Jerry is a character! I called and left a message on Thursday afternoon and he called back within an hour and scheduled me for the same day because I needed expedited service.
He was later than he promised and I was a little worried, but he did show up with an assistant.
I had time constraints and I had doubts he could do the sofa, 2 armchairs, 6 dining chairs, a couple of cushions and an ottoman in an hour and a half. He was VERY THOROUGH. I was running late for my appointment but he cared more about getting that sofa clean. He moved quickly and had it all done in 2 hours.
He won't get five-year stains out of your furniture, but he said no one could, and I believe that. Stain removal in fabric furniture is the same as clothing -- the sooner you get to it, the better your chances of removing it.
Jerry's prices were less than Chem-Dry's and his service is fast.
I'm planning to use him again for grout cleaning.
NOTE: I have never had upholstery cleaned before and on the sofa and armchair, which is microsuede fabric, the cleaning left streak marks and the nap was roughened. (This didn't happen with the silk armchair or the dining table chairs which is some kind of unknown fabric even Jerry hadn't ever seen.) I called Jerry to ask him about this issue and he told me I needed to get a wool brush to brush the fabric and restore it. I did notice that when i "brushed" it with my hand, the fabric was coming back to life so I will go out and get a fabric brush to do this. Just letting you all know so that you are prepared and don't freak out when this happens to you.
2ND NOTE: DO NOT USE HIM FOR SILK or delicate fabrics. He is so thorough that he caused little rips in my silk chair and silk cushions. I am not sure if you are to use different brushes for this or what, but if you have delicate fabrics, they will tear with the method and brush he used.
Also, when he cleans the cushions, don't put the wet cushions on another piece of furniture to dry. He placed wet sofa cushions on my silk armchair and I moved all but one of them because I had nowhere else to put that wet cushion, and it has caused a water stain on the silk armchair.
So keeping all those caveats in mind, go ahead and use him.
Jerry definitely takes pride in his work.
He did a good job with my carpet.
I had a lot of stains from my dogs. He was able to get most of it out.
Although if it's been there for a while, it's really hard to get out.
Still, the carpet looked really good after he was done.
I would recommend him.
Also he gives discounts to yelpers.
I found this company on Yelp and used him about 6 months ago with serious cat pee on my rug that even another carpet cleaning company could not get rid of. I just used Jerry again yesterday and I cannot believe how good my white wall to wall carpet looks. I had stains and dirt that I was not sure he'd be able to take care of. He seems to specialize in pet odor problems. I will recommend him with 5 stars not only because he gets the job done so well but because he is a real person that listens and shows up responsibly. He is the only carpet cleaner needed in LA if you ask me.
I'm a happy camper! I called Jerry yesterday for a carpet cleaning, and he showed up exactly at 9 AM this morning, right on time, and called me to confirm on the price before he started work (the cleaning was for my house which I just rented out). He did both carpeted rooms in an hour and my renters are thrilled. I remembered today that I actually used Jerry two years ago and he did a great job then, too. He is a master of removing tough stains and his prices are very fair and competitive. I like using small businesses when I can instead of the big, impersonal chains, and this is an example of one you can feel good about giving your business to. He truly does "work with you." I will give him future business whenever I can. Thanks, Jerry!
I called Jerry (I Work With You Carpet Cleaning is his one-man operation) this week based on Yelp reviews. A guest at a party had spilled red wine on my beige carpet and I had used carpet cleaner, only to cause a bigger purple and brown stain. Yikes!
He worked around my schedule to set up a time within a day and arrived on time. Callers should be aware that he is very...casual on the phone. He's the man behind the operation, not a trained receptionist after all. He did twice either lose signal or hang up on me without giving me any signal that I would typically consider indicative of an end to the coversation. (eg - When I first rang him, he spoke for a while, then said "Can I call you back in a minute?" I answered "Yes...click on the line...my number is XXX-XXX-XXXX...hello?" He was gone, but did call back a couple minutes later. Then the morning of our appointment he called and asked "Is your place a duplex?" I answered, "No, it's a back house behind number XXX" and he replied with a "oh/grunt", then the line went dead.)
Phone etiquette could be improved, but that aside, he showed up on time, did a totally fantastic job on my carpets, got out all the stain (it was like magic), worked quickly and efficiently, was very pleasant and personable, seemed to have a fair price and no up-sells or surprises in the cost, and even helped me move some furniture so we could get all the spots. He also told me where to get red wine stain remover and a little handheld carpet steam cleaner at a nearby store "So you can save some money in the future", which was helpful and unexpected, given that he could probably financially benefit from me calling him any time I have another spill. Anyway, he made me a happy customer, the carpets are already dry and look and smell great. I'll be recommending him to friends and will definitely be calling him again. In addition to carpets, he apparently also does upholstery and mattresses if you need anything like that.
UPDATE: Ok. I spoke with Jerry on the phone, and we clarified everything. He's cool people. There were some misunderstandings, but he seemed very genuine and totally respected my opinions. He is also extremely open to improving himself, for which I give him a lot of credit.
If I hadn't already set an appointment with another service, I would've made an appointment with him right then and there. And I probably will in the future! Good stuff, Jerry. See ya soon!

OLD REVIEW: Maybe I reached the wrong Jerry. The Jerry that everyone else has met seems to be highly professional, prompt, and accommodating.
Well, the Jerry that *I* spoke with over the phone was rude and seemed pretty dang unprofessional. He seemed impatient and sounded as if I was bothering him. Granted, it was his lunch hour... but I did call at 11:30 a.m., specifically to *avoid* reaching him during lunch, which I mistakenly assumed to be at 12:00 or so.
The reason why I give him 3 stars (rather than 1) is because I'm trying to be fair - I haven't used his services, so I cannot really attest to the quality of his work. From all reports, it sounds like the guy does a great job. This review is based merely on my very brief phone conversation with him.
Suffice it to say...I went with another upholstery cleaning service because they were nicer to me. *sniffle*
We'll see how that goes!
This is my 5th time using Jerry. He was amazing again. He's always great on the phone and can always fit me in. The carpets look great! The odor from my dogs is gone! yay!
I live in a large apartment complex and he's never had a problem getting to my place.
I've recommended to close friends and I recommended anyone considering. His prices are very good. He takes pride in what he does and it shows!

I've waited several weeks before writing my review, just to make sure that the carpets stayed clean. And they did. Jerry is as good as all the reviews say.
His prices are very fair. Many carpet cleaners will try to take on extra charges whenever possible, Jerry doesn't do this. Plus his schedule is very flexible. I called him and he scheduled around my needs, rather then giving a range of hours to sit and wait.
Not only are his prices good, but the quality of his work is top notch. Plus he has a personality like no other carpet cleaner. Just look at all these reviews, how many people know their carpet cleaner's name? Anyone that has worked with Jerry won't forget him anytime soon. While he was cleaning my apartment he told me stories about how he founded his business, why he cleans carpets, and about installing his car stereo. This guy is great.
I have had Jerry come over to my place twice. We have a temperamental kitty who every blue moon will pee on our area rug. The first time Jerry came out, I was truly skeptical. If you know anything about cat pee is that a. the smell is unbearable b. once they pee on something they will continue to pee on the item unless its properly cleaned and the pee enzymes are vanished c. it's impossible to remove.
Jerry was able to get the stench out the first and second time, which was my first concern. He had magic potions and a technique to absorb the fluorescent yellow pee from my irreplaceable white area rug. Martini, the culprit, has not peed on the rug since then! Knock on wood.
I will definitely call Jerry again and recommend him for all impossible jobs.
I have an area rug in my living room of which I am very fond. I hesitated to have it cleaned because I was afraid it would be ruined. However, the time came when I could put it off no more. My husband called this firm and took the rug in. The would have picked it up, but he wanted to look the place over to reassure me. The person who waited on us was understanding and took time to explain the rug-cleaning process. The work is done on the premises. A few days later, we picked up the rug,. A stain resistant finish had been added and it looked as good as new. I
Check it, 80% of these reviews are all fake. I was almost suckered into using this guy until I called him and he sounded very unprofessional. Not only did he keep me on the phone while talking to some girl, he managed to make me feel like it was a privilege to pay him for his services. ok... With all the shady cleaning practices going on, I'd say you're better off buying the bissell 2080 (available for $99 on amazon) and do the work yourself. the machine will pay itself off after 2 uses. your pets will love you for it.
I called Jerry to first clean my sofa and love seat because it started to smell musky. I've had my microfiber suede couch for about 5 years now and it needed a cleaning bad. I have three cats also who have over the years taken turn to grace my couch with various levels of vomit.
I first heard of Jerry from Yelp. I read his reviews and was motivated to call him up to schedule the cleaning. I called him up and was given an appointment on the day I want with a few days notice.
He came 1/2 hour early from the appointment time. He set up, surveyed the work, gave me a quote, and started to work. He knew I had pets so he used a solution that would deodorize and clean.
He worked for about 2 1/2 hours. He did a great job. He always cleaned after himself and the machines and left without a mess. My couch looks great and clean. I had some stains from my cats that wouldn't leave but Jerry got them out.
He was very honest and a hard worker that gave my great service.
I would recommend him and use him again.
I really like this guy (Jerry Dollison) and recommend him completely. He's friendly. Hardworking. Prompt. Efficient. Flexible. And reasonably priced. A highend "known" local carpet cleaner pointed me to him when they couldn't come out and take care of a pet stain emergency and I've been using him ever since. His site is worth a peek to familiarize yourself with his operation and there are some useful household tips. His suggestion for getting doggy pee out of a carpet? Spot on. (Or off.) Give him a try.
Added January 22, 2008: Wow. Just read Larry C's "review". Folks, I've never heard from this guy as he claims, and I leave it up any reader to decide based on this and my other reviews who you might be inclined to believe. My experiences with Jerry are identical to Steve and Jen's: He's professional, friendly, accommodating, punctual and a real pleasure to deal with. I use his services on a regular basis. And I recommend him unequivocally to anyone who could use someone of this caliber. I'll follow Steve's lead and say if anyone wants to email me here at Yelp I too will happily vouch for Jerry, also over the phone if that helps. This Larry C business is bizarre.
After reading the reviews on here I figured I would give this company a shot. I called Jerry the weekend before New Year's and we scheduled it for Wednesday the 31st. My New Year's plans changed and we ended up moving to party to our apartment. Jerry was fine with rescheduling it to Sunday January 4th to accommodate my last minute party plans. The job was scheduled for noon and it was for a 2 story, 4-room job.
We've lived in our apartment for 1 year and the floor looked like a Dalmatian! The carpet looks like its never been cleaned and was way overdue for one. Since our apartment wasn't close enough to the street, he improvised by driving up on the sidewalk and onto the lawn! I appreciated this, do what you need to do type of attitude. He accessed the situation and saw that the carpet was a mess. He quoted me exactly what I got charged and even made a comment that he wouldn't do something he didn't quote me on. I figured that some of the spots would come out but was set on the idea that a majority wouldn't. He quickly moved from the upstairs rooms, down the stairs, and onto the living room. All the time, Jerry was cheery and talkative about, mainly about his business and family life. As I camped out downstairs, he went into how much he loved his line of work and the life it has afforded him. Slowly my carpet looked spotless. I even had him clean the cat tree that looked dingy and grimy. The cat tree now looks new and smells great. He used non-toxic cleaning spray on everything since he knew I had cats :) Once he was all done, my carpet looked fabulous.
I would definitely use Jerry again and will probably do so on a yearly basis. His prices are reasonable and he provides great customer service!
Hmm - it's been two days since I left a voice mail saying I wanted my two bedrooms steam cleaned and no one's called me back yet. You'd think they'd want the business during a recession...
As anyone with cats knows, cat urine is the H-bomb of household odors. After my cat urinated on an upholstered love-seat, I called Jerry in hopes that he could keep it from ending up on the curb. He cleaned it & sprayed it with an odor-removing enzyme solution. When the first application didn't get all of the odor out, he came back for free to finish the job. Now - no more odor!
He was friendly & totally professional - he said that he loves what he does, & it shows in his work. His prices are also very reasonable. I would recommend him in a heartbeat - I can't imagine better service.
Jerry is the man. Did a great job cleaning my carpets and kept me entertained while he worked. Yep, Jerry is a talker. Talked about his life, his business, the kick-ass car stereo he was having installed. But with all the talking not once did he try and push any extra services on me. In my previous experiences with carpet cleaners they all advertised cheap prices only to start up selling me the minute they stepped through the door. Jerry was just straight-up honest. He quoted me a fair price for the work then came out and delivered. When he left I felt like I had made a new friend... plus my carpets were spotless. Kudos.
Whoa! There is some feistiness going on, so I'm putting in my 2 cents. I meant to write this review back in August when I first called "I Work with You Carpet Cleaning," but truth be told, I'm a slacker.
When I first moved into my new apartment everything was great... except for the stinky, crunchy carpets. Eeeeww! I was disgusted, but I was desperate for a place so I decided to rent it anyway. I'd never hired a carpet cleaner before, so since Yelp has been good to me in the past, I decided to give this company a shot. When I called, Jerry answered the phone and said he was available even that same day! That was a bit too quick for me, so we made an appointment for the next day. He was going to meet me at my place at 1pm, so I was driving home from work and of course hit mad traffic. He called me 15 min before 1pm to say he was already at my place, but when I told him I was stuck in traffic, he said he would wait for me. When I finally arrived, he got right to work and did an amazing job! He got rid of all the crunchiness and bad odor. And he told me the carpets ended up that way since the previous cleaning left the carpet wet (crunch factor) and used too much soap (stink factor). I was very happy with the results.
Jerry explained that his company is pretty much a one man show. He takes pride in his work and loves what he does. I mean, as I sat there watching him work, he explained how much he loves his job. I WISH I was that passionate about the work I do! I feel bad for Ross J. who never got a call back, but when a business is run by one person, if they aren't around, business is closed. I would be frustrated too, but I prefer "mom & pop" establishments. It may be a little more expensive, at times not reliable, but the service is personalized. I took my chances with this one and was happy that I did.
Jerry is a hard working professional who does a good job and charges reasonable prices. I was looking for someone who could clean my white carpets that have been traffic-ed and soiled-ed by 3 little boys (so dirty and need for non-chemical cleaning). I received his name off of Yelp - he did a good job, worked hard, charged reasonable prices and I'll be calling him again.

I did a lot of web research to find a great cleaner, and it paid off: my carpet looks as good as when I moved in, if not better. My place is blocked in and hard to reach with one of those van vacuums; I told Jerry this, and he brought a portable unit with more power than the rinky-dink ones the grocers rent. The man's a professional, not just in know-how, but also in service. For example, he was able to come earlier than expected, but called first and asked -- way cooler than movers and utility folk who show up whenever and couldn't care less about your schedule. On top of all that, he's a personable and upfront guy, so there's no weird stranger-in-my-house vibe. Plus he's down to business, *and* his rates beat others I checked, *and* he's highly rated by Better Business Bureau (and I think bonded too) ... and now I never have to track down a great cleaner again. That simple.
ADDED 11/22/07: Sorry, Larry C., as I just emailed to you in greater detail, I'm neither Jerry nor a fake reviewer. I'm not as free with my personal info as Chris R., but if anyone wants to email me I'll vouch for Jerry. Over the phone, even, if you leave a number. Yelp emails go to my secondary account, but I'll check more than my normal once every two weeks.
We just moved into a house where 3 cats and 2 dogs used to live, so the first thing I wanted to do was have our carpets cleaned. I found Jerry on Yelp, and he was terrific. He thought he might have to have one of his associates do the job - because he was getting married this weekend! - but when he found out he'd be available himself, he called me immediately to let me know.
Jerry was not only prompt, he was early, and so he was halfway through cleaning the carpets by the time I got there (my husband was home). He was professional, friendly, did a great job, completed the job quickly, and was very affordable. I would definitely use him again next time the carpets need cleaning.

Jerry came to my condo in Newport Beach on a Sunday after I needed to reschedule a Saturday appointment. Was my 1st time and I found him using Yelp. Suprised he would come this far South. Jerry is personable, very reliable and very good at carpet cleaning! I have very thick cream colored wool carpet that shows high traffic areas and I get dark (dust/grime) outlines when moving a piece of furniture that has been in one place for a while. (Live in the flight path of John Wayne airport near PCH, lots of dust!) Anyway, Jerry was able to get it wonderfully clean and fresh smelling. I have a large 7' round Karastan rug in my living room that sparkeled after he cleaned it. (Looks like new!) He is very careful and considerate. Even called a couple days later to make sure I was happy. Now that is great customer service! Enjoyed talking with him and hope he is enjoing being a new dad! It's been 3 weeks and no stains came back up. Great job!
Jerry is simply the best carpet cleaner in LA. He arrived on time and saved my ruined carpet, caused by my naughty dog. Stains and odors -- gone. His prices are reasonable and he always tells you what he is doing and what your options are. Also, he's fun to talk to. Very recommended -- I will only use his service for all my future carpet cleaning!
Jerry cleaned my carpet in a 3 bedrm apt after finding him by reading the reviews here on Yelp. He is a trustworthy guy that did a great job on my carpets. I called Wed, and was able to schedule an apt for Friday and his prices were definitely reasonable.
