It's a little Ghetto but a great place to have fun, that's if your into the whole hip hop and reggae thing. A couple of friends and I came here on a Friday night. When we first came in it was a little dead, there were a few people seated around the bar, and a couple of others playing a game of pool at the pool table. Around 12 it started to get really crowded. The majority of the crowd was African American. Around 12:30, the whole bar is drunk, and things start to get a little ghetto. Not that I minded since I've lived in Dorchester for just about 18 years. I made my way towards the dance floor and danced the night away. Pros, the drinks were cheap, tasty, and the music was great! They also have a grill but I didn't order any food, although the scrumptious scent of chicken wafting in from the kitchen smelled delicious. Cons, it's a little to small for my liking, the dance floor got a little to crowded and sweaty for me. It could've been a 5 but I had to take 1 point off for the girlfriend in the corner who was giving me nasty looks all night. I have to admit though, I did have a blast!

This is a cool little neighborhood bar. Cool setup, cheap drinks, and Sue the bartender is pretty nice eye candy. Kind of reminds me of a ghetto version of Cheers. I say that as a compliment. I would give it 5 stars but some of the customers can be on the, lets say, sketchy, side. That being said don't let the outside appearance, or the appearance of the people standing outside scare you off.

You know, the reviews here were really misleading. I was looking for a neighborhood pub to catch a beer and the Celts game (and some pool!). So took the boyfriend to try this new (to us) place. We walked in, paused at the complete sketchiness of the place, asked whether they serve food (only "bar food": wings, hot dogs and hamburgers), and decided it was not for us. We were there at about 8pm on a Friday, and there were 6 people in the place plus the bartender. People were polite enough, but really, this is a dive bar.
