I stayed here this past weekend with my family since we wanted to do a litlte weekend getaway to LA for my mom's birthday. This hotel is very beautiful with a nice, modern decor. The rooms are good, could be a bit bigger, but that's ok. The rooms are quiet and the layout is great, makes finding your rooms easy to find. They also have a lounge area in every floor where you can get coffee and tea 24 hours today.
The only thing that I didn't like was the internet. At times the signal was somewhat weak and it was $9.95 for 24 hours. I paid $130 for the room, you would think you can get at least free internet.
Other than that, I highly suggest that you stay at the Hyatt Westlake if you're ever in the area!
My family and I spent 4 days at this hotel. We drove to Universal studios from here and went to Six Flags. It was nice to stay at a hotel that was clean, quiet and friendly.
We checked in on July 19th and had to get 2 rooms, 1 for my husband and I and another for my mother in law and the kids. The front desk ladies Kimberly and Micaela went out of their way to find us a beautiful room away from the kids. It was honeymoon all over again....lol
We ate at the hotel, the food was pretty good at both restaurants. At knuckles ( I think the name changed) The kids were able to play pool while we waited for the food..
The swimming pool was a little cold for me but I sure enjoyed the Jacuzzi. I can't wait until we go back here again. Keep up the good work you guys!
Currently staying here as I write this. This is a nice hotel. Decor is clean, updated, and modern. The great thing about the hotel is that everything is close by. Parking is plentiful. Hotel layout makes rooms easy to get to, and the restaurant and lounge are just steps from the elevator. Internet signal can be a bit weak, but its adequate. If you have the buffet included in your rate its not a bad deal, especially considering convenience. Food leaves a bit more to be desired but its the buffet what can you expect... You walk down, food is warm, you eat, sign, and leave. Rooms are standard sized but have a nice seating area and workspace. Room was very clean and remade wonderfully day after day. Customer service is wonderful. By the second day the front desk was already greeting me by name. That's a nice touch you don't find very often. Given its convenient location and proximity to food etc., I'm sure I'll be staying here again.
I stayed here for a night before heading out to Santa Barbara. I really liked the service, especially from the front desk guy James Flores. He was really helpful and very welcoming. He was also great with helping us find a place to eat that night. James provided us with a map and even called the restaurant for us so we had an idea of what the wait time was like, when they stop dinner service, etc.
The Regency club amenities were also pretty decent. They had some spinach and cheese roll things (I have no idea what they're called), pasta salad, fruit, grilled veggies, and select cheese & crackers. There was this one garlic cheese that was AMAZING! The breakfast menu was also great, although, I would've preferred a bigger assortment of cereal and some soy milk (Yes I know...I'm very picky).
Anyway, this was overall a great place to stay & I highly recommend it.
This is a beautiful hotel in Westlake Village. The room service was prompt and delicious and there is a Sunday brunch available (or at least there was when I was there) that includes shrimp, oysters and build-your-own omlets, as well as various fruit salads and other breakfast staples.
Check-in was a breeze with only an ID and credit card required for verification of reservation. In less than 5 minutes, with 2 room keys in hand, we checked into our huge standard room. The room had a king-sized bed (incl. down pillows and comforter), modern lighting, a couch and coffee table, handy individually-wrapped cotton balls and other necessities in the bathroom, and perhaps the best part of all: check-out isn't 'til noon (and can be done from your TV)!
It's minus one star because the bathtub was noticably filthy (with what looked like dirt and debris) upon arrival. This was the only flaw during my 2-night stay.
If I am ever in the area again, this will most definitely be my hotel of choice.
Really clean and welcoming. The bed was just right.
Con: the outdoor pool isn't heated, which this delicate soul demands, even though it gets up to 140 degrees by 10 in the morning.
The font desk even refunded the $10 charge for the internet when it wouldn't connect in the morning and we had to change our flight via the phone. THE PHONE! Ugh, what year is this? 1875?
