I stayed here for 11 days during a business trip in the same room. There were the typical hotel ammenities-soap, shampoo, conditioner so I'm not sure why someone (below post) says there wasnt!
Pros:
KITCHEN! They have a kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, sink--very cool! I made my meals a lot of times when I didnt feel like eating out. Housekeeping cleaned my stove very well and loaded my dishes sometimes too.
The noise level in the rooms are good, did not hear neighboring noise.
The beds were very comfortable and they had extra blankets/pillows in the closet.
Very Nice Staff--in particular Shawn/Sean was so nice in helping me with my internet.
Convenient-Literally nextdoor to a mall, movie theatre, grocery stores, and resturants.
Lots of FREE parking (a luxury you dont see in SF hotels)!
Good outdoor rec center.
Free full Breakfast with bagels, eggs, bacon, toast, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice etc.
LOTS of entrances/exits!
They had a "summer grill social" and had a dinner with hot dogs, sausages, chicken wings, lemonade, coleslaw, grilled corn, etc.
Cons:
Not so great indoor rec center--there gym is about 20 years outdated and there is no disinfectant to wipe anything down.
No resturant and room service is catered offsite!
One side of the hotel smells kind of funny. My room smelled kind of like brocolli when I would walk into it but I guess i got used to it after a few min. Evidently my teacher noticed it too and moved to the other side of the hotel!
I would recommend this hotel, it was a very pleasant stay in pleasant hill.

We had a couple of days' worth of business in the Pleasant Hill area, and what with the Bay Bridge being closed and all, we decided to just spend the night rather than drive back and forth to Menlo. The wife picked the Hyatt Summerfied Suites based off the reviews on Yelp (we were also tempted by the Lafayette Park Hotel, but decided to redirect the extra budget towards food).
PROS: Easy to find & park, friendly staff, nice sized room, handy amenities like fridge & microwave (perfect for reheating dinner leftovers :), nice TV in the "living room", breakfast buffet with both hot and cold items.
CONS: Lots of freeway noise, saggy bed, old TV in the bedroom.
I personally could not have stayed more than one night in our particular room--I would've asked to move to a room on the back side of the hotel away from the freeway with a newer mattress on the bed.
Still, if the cons I listed don't matter to you, it seems like a good option for an extended visit to the Pleasant Hill area.
Our room as well as the grounds and pool area were nice and clean, I felt it was a pretty good deal for just over $100 with a real breakfast included.
The location is super convenient right off the freeway and within easy walking distance of a downtown disneyesque shopping and restaurant area that includes a movie theatre.
The pool area was nice too although it did get crowded as you would expect when the temperature got into triple digits.

Sorry, this review is long overdue. Prior to our wedding in July, I was searching for a place for my family and out of town guests to stay. Jaime was extremely helpful and responsive. I had blocked off a few rooms. Prices were reasonable and staff was outstanding and super friendly. Rooms were clean, grounds were clean. Hot breakfast served every morning - decent spread! Hotel is located by freeway and many shops within walking distance... Very convenient. Definitely recommend staying here!
Love this place for many reasons:
1. The location is right across the street from a mall, movie theatre and tons of restaurants.
2. The rooms are fantastic, gorgeous and fully equipt.
3. The meeting Rooms for Corporate events are so cheap and huge. They have natural light and free internet!!
4. The staff is awesome!

The staff is wonderful and super friendly. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. I had a 1 bedroom suite and it comes with a kitchenette...cooktop, microwave, full fridge, and dishwasher. A movie theater is located across the street and there are lots of shops and restaurants within a short walk from the hotel. Much better than the Pleasant Hill Residence Inn and Extended Stay America. There is someone at the front desk 24/7 and 24 hr security staff so as a female business traveler I feel very safe here. They have a hot breakfast buffet with some healthier options like fresh fruit, yogurt , and cereal. During the week they also have a happy hour with beer, wine, and appetizers.
This is such a great place to stay!!! Located right next to Downtown Pleasant Hill, it's very convenient. I love the suites. All rooms come equipped with a full Kitchen with plenty supplies, a Super comfortable BED, Very Clean Rooms, a 24 hour Guest Stop (shop), Laundry services, fitness center, Outdoor Pool, and PARKING. Not to mention the very friendly staff, who seem to already know your last name after you checked in.
Would definitely recommend this for a night's stay!

I needed a last minute, local place to stay one night when my home was uninhabitable. I called Summerfield Suites front desk, and the staff member was very helpful and made me a deal as a local in need.
I've stayed at other Sum.Stes around the US, so I knew what to expect. The staff members were super-helpful. My room was very nice, but not exactly prepared - little things were absent like soap, shampoo, etc.
Other than the minor ommissions, it was very nice, and I'd recommend it.
What a wonderful hotel! My family came in from out of town for my daughter's wedding, and I wanted to have them all stay at one location, and what a location I found! The Hyatt Summerfield Suites has everything!! Great rooms (all suites), great staff, great hot breakfast (bacon, eggs, the works!) included with your room. I can't say enough about this hotel...definitely THE place to stay if you have someone from out of town coming to visit.
