I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. They let us check in early when we arrived before checkin time. The room was clean, and I loved that it was close to the Metro line which made it easy to go and explore the area.

The hyatt is mixed bag but the positives outweigh the negatives I think. The rooms themselves aren't that spectatcular (although the views can be quite nice) and the hotel could use a good refeshing. The front desk staff esp. Rosa, Miriam, Kirt and Malia are very friendly and acommodating. The bell staff are uber helpful.  The location is wonderful, surrounded by restaurants, with a Safeway, Caribou Coffee, Chipotle literally a block away. Its located right on top of the bethesda metro stop and from here to the first downtown dc stop its only a 15 minute ride. The two house restaurants are Morton's and Daily Grill. I've not tried morton's but daily grill has The. Best. Chocolate. Cake. Ever! Seriously.

Last night I held an event at this hotel with my office and it went perfectly. The events team was very well organized and the space was perfectly arranged. We were in the Regency Ballroom and had the whole space to ourselves which was very nice, it might have been cramped or noisy if there was another group in the space as well. The food was very good, especially since we were catering for 300 people, we had passed appetizers and carving stations. The bar service was well manned and attentive. There was a good number of people clearing used dishes and the space always looked good. I would say this was a very good event space and would recommend it.

Very nice hotel.  We stayed here for a wedding and everyone had nice rooms.  The hotel is conveniently located right next to a Metro stop and the nearby Bethesda boutiques.  The only negative comment is that the hotel bar was closed after we got back from the wedding... it was only 11:30.  Oh, well.

Stayed here for a weekend during the 2007 Small Press Expo. I really liked this hotel and will certainly try to stay there next year. First off, it sits right on top of a Metro stop so it's very convenient to hop on and go where you need to. The room was very clean and nicely furnished, if not on the small side. The rooftop gym is also small but the equipment is all fairly new and it has a nice view of the city. Downstairs restaurant had an excellent and only slightly pricey breakfast. The only real negative was that it took a few hours to get someone to come and fix the air conditioning when it broke.
