This place took the Hilton Garden Inn concept and did it even better.  Hyatt took their former Amerisuites and turned them into the gem that is Hyatt Place.

Found a wonderful deal at an online price negotiator website.  Check-in was a breeze with their self-service terminal, but I can see that being frustrating for some travelers.

The room was spacious, modern and clean.  Everything was in working order and I was delighted to find a big screen TV with HD channels and free wireless internet.

One negative was that the bathroom fan was just too darn loud, and the self-service nature of check-in seems to make staff not want to deal with guests.

I didn't partake in any of their food offerings, but I understand they have quite an extensive breakfast.

I found this location to be conveniently located between the airport and I-40, with plenty of fast food and casual dining restaurants in the immediate area.

This was a really nice surprise. I chose it based on Yelp reviews. THe rooms are roomy and comfortable with massive TV screens. Not your average hotel room lay-out so that made it interesting. They have really gone the mile for a design oriented mass hotel and it feels successful. Nice breakfast buffet and overall atmosphere. Even the workers outfits are well thought out and modern. I will return to a Hyatt Place for sure.

This was my first time ever staying at a Hyatt Hotel (Hyatt Place to be specific). Due to the project I was on, this was the recommended hotel.

Overall, I thought it was a decent hotel.  I love the design of the rooms and the flat screen televisions.  However the internet sucks.

But what did it for me at this particular location was one of the staff.  When a staff member makes comments (every time he sees you) makes it a bit uncomfortable to stay there.  I did not need to hear from the staff member that he liked my shoes so much that he was willing to beat me up for them.  Not alone, if he beat me up, take me to my room and drop me off.  Also, my workout pants (2 separate occasions) disappeared from my room. Coincidence, I think not!!! Scary and very unacceptable.  When I noticed myself going in through the back entrance to avoid this person, I know it was time to stay at another hotel. Unfortunately, I did not complain to the hotel manager.  I just decided to leave the hotel entirely.

Very nice place.  I did not even realize it was a Hyatt, it is very upscale and wonderful rooms.  Good little breakfast too!

This hotel recently became a Hyatt Place, which is Hyatt's new, hip, fun brand. I joked that I had my very own lounge, which I totally did because the rooms are like mini-suites with a separate area that has an over-sized sectional sleeper sofa, desk, sink/bar area, and a view of the swiveling 42-inch flat screen. The decor was fun, the bed was comfy, the staff was totally friendly, and breakfast was free. I'm kind of a hotel snob, and I was totally happy here..
