Hyatt Orlando
1 review for Hyatt Orlando
Anyone who has been in the car with me will inform you I'm not the best driver. Personally I don't think my driving is that bad (although I agree it needs a little work), but I do have major directional issues.
Orlando is one of the cities that I always get lost in so I decided this time around to stay in the Hyatt that's actually in the International Airport. The Hyatt seemed easy enough to find when I landed at the airport- it's located just on the 3rd floor. However, I had to rent a car for the next morning and drive around the airport to park it at the hotel. I'm probably the only person who's ever gotten lost trying to find this hotel when coming from the airport. It looks me about 30 minutes and 2 phone calls to the concierge, but I finally made it.
Once I got here I was pleasantly surprised. For an airport hotel it's pretty nice...service has been great, the rooms are big and comfortable, and the salmon salad I ordered from room service was delicious. And of course nothing beats a view of the International Orlando Airport baggage claim! :)
I wouldn't recommend staying here if you are vacationing in Orlando for a few days (The Peabody, World Center Marriott, and the Caribe Royal are much nicer and in the heart of downtown Orlando. However, if you are traveling for business like I am, have been to Orlando enough time for Mickey Mouse to know your name, and don't plan on doing much besides working give the Hyatt a try. Hopefully you'll have better luck finding it than I did!
