this salon is GORGEOUS inside!! the colors are earthy and soothing, and the layout is really well done.

i treated myself to a no chip manicure today. i'd never had one before, and while i may not have the greatest nails, i was eager to try this out. i LOVE it!!

the process is a bit lengthy - my manicure took over an hour - but the results are long-lasting (up to 3 weeks, depending on how quickly your nails grow).

i went with a pretty bronze color - which turned out to be much lighter than the sample let on. so the nail tech offered and was happy to apply extra coats to get the color as deep as the shade i desired. i really appreciated that.

and here's the coolest part - as crappy as the weather was today (cold and rainy), i was able to put on my gloves right after the manicure ended. NO SMUDGING!! amazing!!

i can't stop admiring and touching my nails. so pretty!!! i will definitely be back!

I used to drive by this place all the time and wonder what the salon was like and finally I went in one day. I saw a sign that said something about a no chip manicure... and now I'm hooked. Its a very friendly place- great owners! I also enjoy all the specials on Sundays and the second Saturday of every month. I have had a massage which was wonderful and an eyebrow wax as well as the no chip mani and regular pedi... Highly recommend this place and I'm a picky one!!! Give it a try!!!

I absolutely love Hush salon.  It's in a great location with free street parking right out front.  NO METERS!!!!  The owner Carla is great and you are met with a salon that is calme, clean, and inviting.  Carla makes  you feel right at home.  I go to Esmerelda for a no-chip manicure.  They are the BEST and the price is right.  My manicure usually lasts about 2.5 to 3 weeks and it stays shiney and neat the entire time.  My no-chip pedicure lasts for about a month.  Esmerelda is always on time and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment and even then I was always waiting with an ice cold beverage and a magazine.  I will never go back to regular manicures.  Hush also has a great massage therapist who twists you up like a pretzel and it feels GREAT!!!!

The owner is super nice and I really wanted to like this place....  But my haircut was just not good.  I got a cut, highlights and lowlights.  The color was good but the cut was just not.  My bangs are all choppy and the layers did not blend so I had to go much shorter just to cut the layers out.  It is too expensive to get your hair done to leave with hair your not happy with.  She could tell I was not happy when I left but did not offer anything to try and smooth it over.  You have to make sure each customer is happy if you want to get a business going because loyalty and word of mouth is all you have in the salon business, and I will not be going back or recommending Hush.  I feel bad because she is very nice but she really should have done something to make up for my terrible haircut.  I hear the manicures there are great though...
