Hunter Mt Ski Bowl
1 review for Hunter Mt Ski Bowl
I didn't realize what the Hunter Mountain skiing facility was called until I looked at my receipt to know what to search for on Yelp; evidently, it is named as if it were a bowling alley on snow. Â Anywho, Richard B. took me skiing this past weekend, for the day, and we were worried that the rain would spoil our party but it turned into snow at the base of Hunter Mountain, which was promising. Ski facilities are pricey as usual: $59 for the day, ski lift and $34 for rentals. This was essentially my first time skiing and can I say, it was fabbb! Despite a sprained right wrist and a VERY badly sprained left shoulder, it was a terrific work out and just a lot of fun. The slopes here provide an adequate challenge for beginners but are not too scary at the same time. Given that it was March, there weren't too many people there so I didn't ski right into someone else, thankfully, nor did I embarrass myself my falling in front of too many people or off the lift, ha-ha. The food is mediocre though, surprise surprise. I'd go back next week but I doubt there'll be enough snow left. Oh, and the drive up Hunter Mountain is beautiful! I will surely be back! :-)
