I'm surprised by the other 5 star reviews. We ordered a couple of hot dogs to go, so maybe the experience is a little different if you eat in. The food was not at all hot, and when we poured mustard on, a million ants came along with it. Needless to say, I didn't feel like eating my hot dog after that.
This is my first review on YELP! I loved Hula Gurl! Swaying palm trees, chairs with hula skirts, vintage signs on the walls, I LOVED it. As for the food, this really loud waitress persuaded me to try something called a loco moco. It sounded quite gross, but I took her word (I thought what the heck, I been to Hawaii 3 times already and never tried it). WOW! what can I say, it was delicious! YUM!!! 5000 calories of the best brown-gravy-and-egg over a mound of pure CARB!! Well it was worth it! Now, off to the gymmmmm..... !

this was a great meal, we sat outside on these hula-skirtted chairs at tables with pineapple salt and pepper shakers. I took my BFF Jen there while she was here visiting me from Seattle. It may have been because we were so happy being with each other after missing each other for so long, but, we literrally had tears in our eyes after just a few bites of our french toast, omelettes; and HULA PUNCH.... She had a blast and I really felt like I took her somewhere she'd remember by way of Hawaii. The people were really really nice, which im so glad because Id also taken her places where the people serving just werent nice at all. You should go there, it was great!
