I stayed here for a couple of days, and it could not have gone better. The customer service is very good, and the front desk is incredibly decent. For the price, you'd think if they wore different uniforms, you'd be in a Ritz-Carlton.
The hotel itself is well taken care of, and the pool is kept clean. The rooms are very spacious, and I think they all have balconies. All in all, I would return. Great experience.
Also... they just opened a Sonic across the street. Sweet. -

Great place friendly service, quiet room, good breakfast (that I doubled up on, for some road tripping)
There's a Boston Market next door so that's a plus, and I think you get a discount there.
One final thing I dug was that the rooms were in a hallway, for some reason , I like that better. TV had alot of channels, I was happy I think only 60 bucks for the night (thank you expense account!) -

I love this small city, Vero Beach. Life is much simple in Vero Beach. Howard Johnson was the place where I spent my first night at Vero Beach. I still remember the lady who check me in. She has the TV going with some soap opera on and started typing my information in the computer - multi tasking. She mentions that if you have been watching the same soap opera long enough, you don't need to look at the TV to know whats going on. I just smiled, get my card keys and go to bed. Howard Johnson is close to Boston Market. BM makes a good marinated chicken. But, that's for another review.
