I'm very excited to be partnering with Hotels for Hope on an upcoming meeting in Corpus Christi. They negotiated with the hotel I'm using to pay a $1 charitable contribution per actualized room night during my conference. H4H will match the hotels contribution for every room, which will generate $2 per room for The Hotels for Hope Fund. We are anticipating over 1000 rooms nights. Doesn't that make your heart sing?

The fund currently benefits LIVESTRONG, Special Olympics Texas, A Glimmer of Hope and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (T*A*P*S.) The organization I work for is ecstatic to be partnering with H4H and doing a world of good for some very deserving charities.

On top of being a socially responsible company, the employees I've met at H4H all rock. They have the capability to be a one stop shop for complete meeting and event planning services from hotel site selection and online registration to signage and transportation details.

This just in...In the spirit of the holiday season, the H4H team is opening their hearts, and office, while providing for those in need. During a week-long open house, December 13th-17th, 2010 (9:00am - 4:00pm) H4H is collecting non-perishable holiday meal items and children's toys for Brown Santa, a community service program of Travis County Sheriff's Office.

What more can I say? I highly recommend this company.

Neil at Austin Hospitality is my savior! I spent a few days calling around to local hotels trying to book rooms for a large group. I hadn't had much luck and was getting very frustrated with the process. Luckily for me, the Hampton Suites returned my call, and even though they had no rooms available, they referred me to Neil at Austin Hospitality.

Austin Hospitality started about a year ago, helping us regular joe schmos, wedding planners, event coordinators, etc; book hotels rooms for large groups and special events, at no charge to us. Having never done this before, I didn't know where to start. After quick conversation, he knew exactly what I was looking for and gave me tons of advice, then did all the leg work for me.

I got to kick back, enjoy my weekend, then when I got back to work, Neil followed up with me with rates (which he negotiated for me) and contracts. Not only does he have tons of Austin hotel experience, he also knows about what is happening in this city, so he could really be an asset for someone that lives outside of Austin looking for help booking something here. He even gave me advice on where to go on the 4th of July.

I'm kind of sad that I don't have any more rooms to book, because I really enjoyed working with him.

Utilizing Hotels for Hope as your local hotel finder is a great way to make your own life easier and do a little something for charity at the same time.

I have worked with the Hotels for Hope (Austin Hospitality) team for a few years now and they bring experience and a local knowledge that other third-party booking organizations don't have.  They take the guesswork out of finding hotel rooms and use their bottomless list of hotel contacts to find a perfect fit for your group.  Not to mention, their entire team are a pleasure to work with.

Austin Hospitality and Neil are awesome! They know what they're doing and do it well. The process was completely stress free (and I can't say that about much in the way of wedding planning). When I read Allison's review, I thought I've got to give this a try. I called Neil, he made some great recommendations and even gave me a really cost conscious option for transportation for our guests. He negotiated some amazing rates for us, the hotels emailed me the contracts and that's all there was to it folks. Eazy-peezy! If you need to book a bunch of rooms, use Austin Hospitality, no brainer!

History

Established in 2007

There was a very clear series of events that lead to Hotels for Hope concept.  In 2008, I was introduced to Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) and quickly grew to love their athletes, staff and mission.  Their staff, much like other non-profits, worked hard and wore many hats - hotel contracting was not one of them.  I instituted a portal for all delegations to secure rooms and asked hotels for a couple dollars rebate.  I quickly realized a snowball effect was in place.  Our management saved SOTX staff time, we created a volunteer base at every State Games and within a year we were acknowledged as a Silver Sponsor at their 2009 Fall Classic. A day later, I attended A Glimmer of Hope fundraising dinner and met TOMS Shoes owner, Blake MyCoskie.  His company epitomizes social responsibility at its finest - buy a pair of shoes and they will donate a pair.   The next day,  I realized this was our calling.  We will ask hotels to contribute $1 per consumed room night and H4H will match the $1.
