With the amount of students at Iowa from affluent areas all over the Midwest, I am surprised that Hotel Vetro wasn't even listed here, let alone reviewed. We stayed here for my brother's graduation. The Hotel Vetro is located in Downtown Iowa City about a mile from the Iowa campus. It is as nice as any boutique hotel. Just about any amenity you can imagine. We had three rooms and each had a kitchenette. The hotel also provided champagne and picture frames for each graduate/graduate's family. If you have to be in Iowa City for any reason, this is without a doubt the premiere hotel to stay at.
Have stayed once. I like the corner rooms with the balcony. Good massage place downstairs. Very good bar and restaurant. Helpful, friendly service. Good food. Great central location. Highly recommend. Will stay again.
