5 Stars: Ultra-chic boutique Hotel Parisi totally lived up to my expectations! Our room was spectacular, and being that they only have 20 rooms we really go spectacular service.
The breakfast was Italian inspired with meat and cheese platters, egg souffle , oatmeal, croissants, yogurt and cereals. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
-1 Star: For not having a pool, but luckily we were within walking distance to the beach so that made up for it!
A nice clean hotel nestled amongst downtown La Jolla's bustling shops and restaurant. A stone's throw away from the coves and great swimming or snorkeling spots.
I stayed here for a night and loved the comfy bed and waterfall shower, but the room was true to the whole "zen minimalist" vibe that the Parisi touts as being part of their ecologically friendly misson. Eh. I dunno. Its ok. I am used to a bit more in my hotel rooms, but the fresh fruit, soft sheets, and huge containers of bath products won me over. The staff is courteous and the inclusive brekfast was a very civilized. Hosted in what looks like a small dining room, there are assorted pastries, eggs, coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit and sliced cured meats. Yay!
I would definately stay here again!

I honestly believe that anyone who actually stays in this hotel, could not possibly give a bad review. I have never received this level of service from a hotel, and was amazed at elegance and size of the rooms. The standard room is huge, and I thought I had mistakenly been given a suite.
To top off my trip, my fiance and I received in-room massage treatments that turned out to be one of the most amazing experiences. A great breakfast was also provided in the morning, and my only regret is that I only had one night to experience Hotel Parisi.

Loved Hotel Parisi. View of La Jolla Cove. Walking distance to the water one block away. Off season rates right now were an excellent deal! During high summer season this place will certainly be popular!
I'm a food lover and the hotel served my favorite breakfast cereal plus seeds and dried fruits and a buffet of fresh fruits, delicious cheeses, artisan breads and proscuitto. Souffle of eggs. Pannikin Coffee (the best local coffee in San Diego) and espresso drinks. The all-night espresso and teas had my heart too.
The interior decorations are award winning, yes we agreed. And the flat screen HD tv is a necessity these days isn't it?

We really loved Parisi. Great, nothing to big, staff. Good location - we loved La Jolla Cove area, very upmarket. Lovely big room, great free brekkers.
Watch out for the prices of the cars they order...$50 to airport is too much.

This is a great hotel.
I came here for a romantic night with my wife and couldn't ask for a better place.
Not only did my balcony have a great view of the La Jolla Village, but the hotel parking space put our names there.
The service is impeccable and the breakfast we had was great, especially the homemade muesli and gourmet proscuitto.
I would love to stay here again. The rooms are huge and the shower is excellent.
This hotel is the perfect secret getaway. It couldn't be in a better location, yet most people don't even know it is there. Hotel Parisi in downtown La Jolla and it is right across the street the La Valencia and it is above the Victoria Secret. The hotel is steps aways from La Jolla's finest restaurants and the La Jolla Cove. Hotel Parisi has the same view of the La Valencia, more or less, but the hotel is cheaper.
You can get a room at the Hotel Parisi for about $350 in the Summer, but La Valencia's rooms run about 500 bucks.
Hotel Parisi is is really extraordinary. The hotel has a very relaxing ambiance (feng shui decorating techniques are utilized in the lobby and the in the rooms.) Plus, the hotel offers a variety of spa treatments.
I had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Parisi and I can say my room at there was incredible impressive. It was HUGE, the bed was so comfy and the bathroom was plush. The room also had a gigantic window that overlooked La Jolla and and it had an ocean view.
Staying here was great because you get stay right in the middle of downtown La Jolla, yet you get the feeling you are on a peaceful retreat because the rooms are so luxurious and the hotel is pretty discreet.
I absolutely loved staying here and even though I live pretty close by, I would definitely stay here again.

The location is so perfect for exploring the Village - great for people watching from the balcony.

A fantastic little boutique hotel with 22 rooms located right in the middle of LJ. Great rooms, awesome linens, flat screen tv and super quiet. The breakfast is also really good too.

Stayed here on my wedding night. Nice suite. Great location. There is surprisingly few nice places to stay in downtown La Jolla. This is one of them.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the village with access to everything!!! The breakfast was very good. The two stars are for the service. I thought for the price of staying in the hotel, the service should match and we were guests of friends that lived in the area. Upon our arrival, we found out that the room that had been reserved for us was given away and the room provided didn't really accomodate our family. No apologies were made, only excuses. The staff did find a roll a way. The room was small and we had problems with the lights flickering on and off. One the lights over the nightstand had its own temperment. Nevertheless, we stayed two nights. Upon checking out, the bill had been covered by our friends, but I discovered that the second night had been charged to our card, which was provided initially for incidentals. I disputed it and was told it was fixed. Stay tuned, because my gut tells me it was not handled correctly. I have stayed in many upscale hotels, but never had the funky service that I experienced here!!
